The Report of a Parliamentary Delegation, original paper wrappers, staple binding, stain to upper corner, small ink-stamp to lower cover, 8vo, 1945.⁂ Buchenwald was liberated by American forces on April 11th 1945. On April 21st a group of MPs were sent to report first-hand on the atrocities found there. The delegates report closes "In preparing this report, we have endeavoured to write with restraint and objectivity, and to avoid obtruding personal reactions or emotional comments. We would conclude however ... that such camps as this mark the lowest point of degradation to which humanity has yet descended."
