A black and white cuirassier armour dating: second quarter of the 17th Century provenance: Southern Germany Closed helmet with skull in one piece, ribbed at the centre (a reparation on one side); pointed, raisable brim with hemmed border; ventail with sight and rectangular air holes; beaver with hooks; neck -and nape-guard with twisted roping; the surface painted in black while the borders haven't been coloured; restored, brass rivets. One-plate groget, brass rivets. Chest-plate ribbed at the centre, slightly projecting, neckline with thick, smooth roping; under the neckline remains of two stamps, one depicting a shield (Nuremberg?) and a rectangular one; smooth flange; gussets en suite with the neckline. Back-plate slightly hollow at the centre, with smooth roping, not coloured, the remaining surface in black. Nine-plate pauldrons, ribbed at the centre and connected to the upper arm though a relieved decoration; with recessed margin provided with smooth roping and blackened surface; brass rivets; on the upper part of both pauldrons the stamp "HB". Complete brassards; provided with elbow-pieces with central raiser, recessed bands and borders with smooth roping. Gauntlets with cuff decorated with raisers at the margins, eight plates at the back, scaled fingers; old gloves at the inside, brass rivets. Tassets held by buttons, with detachable knee-cops provided with wings; white borders, black surface. The armour is complete with a display pedestal, presented with a historicism rapier. dimensions: height totale circa 185 cm.
An exceptional shamshir dating: third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Turkey Flat, curved, single-edged blade of fine, scaled damask, on one side of the forte a stamp in Arabic, a signature within a cartouche and decorations in gold, on the other side the date "1282" (1866 in the Gregorian calendar) and floral decorations; silver hilt with cross-quillon richly decorated with bas-relieved floral motifs on granulated ground, decorated with eight silver plaques depicting nielloed musical instruments, trophies and floral motifs, under one arm of the quilon the same date, on the arms of the quillon inscriptions in Arabic; fine, wooden scabbard with silver-plated cap and chape en suite with the grip, the central part decorated with filigree and partially pierced and engraved ovals. Two suspension rings on bands decorated en suite. dimensions: length 91 cm.

Scratches to the barrel. Areas of pitting. Very worn to the trigger, guard and stock areas.
An 18th century Long Sea Service flintlock belt pistol, having a tapering barrel with ramrod below, the lockplate unmarked and steel belt clip with crown stamp, having a brass trigger guard and but cap, 44cm. Condition Report / Extra Information Brass trigger guard slightly coming away from the handle at base. Several dents and pin marks to underside of grip and either side of barrel. Action tight.

1984 X-Craft - First Across on D-Day with 40th Anniversary postmark and College of Arms stamp. Hand addressed to the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Gosport. Depicts two midget submarines off Normandy on D-Day. Signed by Lt. George Honour DSC, Commander of X-23 which was submerged for 64 hours off the French coast just before D-Day. Rare autograph.
