A Wemyss preserve pot, cover and stand painted with blackcurrants and leaves, both the stand and pot also bearing oval stamp for "T.Goode & Co South Audley St, London.W.", height 12.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lid has a tiny 1mm x 3mm surface chip near the recessed aperture. Also has several chips to inner rim and a firing crack where the inner rim meets the lid. Crazing and brown staining to the lid. The pot itself is heavily brown stained and has crazing throughout. The stand has crazing throughout, slight brown staining and a couple of rubbed areas to the rim.
A Wemyss preserve pot, cover and stand painted with a beehive and bees, painted marks, impressed marks and also bearing oval stamp inscribed "T.Goode & Co South Audley St, London.W.", height 12.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lid has some brown staining and the knopped finial is slightly off centre and appears to have been reattached during manufacture. The pot is heavily brown stained, has a small 2mm x 3mm surface rim chip to the foot and a small pre-glaze firing chip to the foot. The stand has some brown staining, a fine 1cm hairline crack form the rim, some crazing and a chip to the glaze underneath the rim approx 2mm x 3mm.
