dating: circa 1600 provenance: Germany, Four, juxtaposed, smooth-bore, round, 15/17 mm cal. barrels, with slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, chiselled with acanthus leaves (three barrels of 15 mm cal. and one in damask of 17 mm). The barrels are fixed on an iron support with articulated supporting pin and chiselled sides, the only pan is in iron, rectangular, rounds up all the vents in the upper part. Matchlock with a crowned stamp 'A'. Serpentine with wing screw for match fixing. Wooden stock of archaic shape with long, iron trigger-guard. Some parts with the 19th century restores. length 153 cm.

Wooden, full stock with patchbox in the lower part of the butt, iron locking mechanism next to the nozzle, long, curved, iron, articulated lever on the butt for tracking. Long, iron trigger-guard with base chiselled with leaves, trigger and set-trigger. An old, brass label on the butt side with number '2130', of armoury or collection. length 161 cm.

Gorget with front and back plates, twisted border. Ribbed breast-plate with riveted neck-line and gussets, with ribbed, twisted borders. A stamp and 'V' groove under the neck-line, inscription 'CASTELNOVO' above, protruding, decorated with a notch in the center. Back-plate en suite with the breast. Six-plated pauldrons with upper plate. Beautiful tassets of eleven plates, riveted, ribbed in the center where they are also decorated with small 'V's, hemmed borders and with notches, the last plate is thicker and with a recessed band. Restored leather strings. height circa 102 cm.
