A very interesting diverse collection in a well presented stock book, comprising Victorian pre-paid and penny red covers (two with Irish diamond cancels, one with Tuam cachet), other reds, 220's plates noted, some on piece. Eighteen S.G. 141 21/2d plate 9 used for postmarks. Victorian postal stationary, mint GB Commemoratives and Definitives including machin coil strips and one or two errors. Late XIX Century world pre-paid postal stationary cards - Bolivia, Helogoland (with stamps), Honduras, Borneo, Shanghai, Hawaii, and others. Nova Scotia 1860 S.G. 18, 1c (2), S.G. 26, 81/2c (3), S.G.27, 10c (1), and S.G. 29, 121/2c (1). All fine mint noted amongst much of interest; with a small envelope of loose oddments.

Stamps Four Framed and Annotated 'World's Most Famous Stamps', an 1840- 1841 pairing of an 1840 S.G.2 Penny Black, R, A, Just four margins, fair with crisp red MX and 1841 S.G.14, two pence blue, B,K, three margins, black MX. Second frame contains 1847-54 embossed issue S.G.54 one shilling pale green, almost cut square, used. Third frame contains 1854 embossed issue S.G. 58, 6D lilac, cut square, but into on right side, used fourth frame contains an 1841 Penny Red, D, I, on cover with Southampton hand stamp, two margins. Westminster charged a fortune for these. Ideal Christmas present for the philatelist in your life.
An Interesting Group of Covers, comprising a penny red entire dated 6th November 1862, containing a letter discussing arrangements for music lessons for Prince Arthur, third son of Queen Victoria, later Duke of Connaught; a Silver Jubilee air mail First day Cover with Wick cds to Tangier, with arrival stamp 9th may; two 'Three Kings' covers postmarked Dundee Coronation Day 1937; a Three Kings postcard with two George V 1/2 penny stamps and a 'Poached Egg' clearly handstamped Cardiff 1937 and further covers for Hern Island with Royal Visits and Princess Margaret wedding overprints.
