A George II mahogany lowboy, with moulded top, the apron centred by a scallop shell and with three drawers, the brass handles original, on cabriole legs with shells and pad feet, 71cm h; 78 x 47cm. ++Some old scratches to the top, old small let-in (postage stamp) sized veneer repair to the apron just beneath the right edge of the centre drawer and another beneath the left drawer. 1986-88 15s on 5s Butterfly complete sheet of 49 with progressive shift of overprint affecting each stamp, all with "15s" partly or totally on top of "5s" with obliterating bars displaced downwards, many onto top of stamp below. U/M, few with creases, but mostly fine & spectacular. SG 727 var. (49) Estimate £20
2005 (Sept 15th) Classic ITV "Smilers" Error sheet of 20 showing the various inscription errors. Now listed in the new "Smilers" catalogue and described in a full page article. Note that the normal sheet was printed by Walsall and the error sheet by Cartor. U/M, slight crease affecting one stamp at right, otherwise fine. Estimate £600
