A silver cigarette lighter, hallmarks for Birmingham 1922 B & C, of engine turned design, 4.5 x 3cm, together with a Tiffany & Co silver spirit label for 'Brandy', a silver whisky cork bottle stopper and a silver and mother of pearl fruit knife (4) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 65 - lighter has small dents/scratches allover especially around wheel to base, no engravings, all external parts appear to be present, unsure if in working order, with original cloth case. The X date letter definitely looks the stamp of 1922, however it could be 1947 which has a similar stamp, but I personally think the base curve looks more like 1922.

Letter from one of Queen Victoria's staff at Windsor Castle on her behalf : " My dear Mr. Thompson, I have received the command of Her Majesty The Queen to forward you the accompanying portrait of His Royal Highness Prince Alfred........23 Nov.1860" Signed 'J.C. Cowick' (?). The letter has an embossed stamp at the head 'Windsor Castle' and a wax seal featuring a crown and two lions either side of a shield. Mounted. CONDITION REPORT: Vg
Persia stamp collection 1868 - 1935 in Hagner Album, mint/ used, defins, airmails and commems. Much early material and sets along with officials, overprints, fiscals, parcel post, telegraph, service and higher values - all from period before Persia became Iran . Needs to be seen to be appreciated.
