1910 Maud (wife of Haakon VII of Norway): a personalised mourning stationery hand written in ink with a note of thanks for a book sent on her birthday dated Nov 27 1910 signed Maud, complete with mourning envelope addressed to the Revd Sub Dean, Chapel Royal, St James's Palace, affixed with a 1d stamp franked Sandringham No 2810. * Maud was the youngest daughter of Edward VII, she married in 1896 her husband becoming King Haakon VII of Norway in 1905

Bragg (1862-1942, English Physician and Chemist, Nobel Prize winner for Physics, 1915, signed as President of the British Association, 1928), Arthur Keith (1866-1955, Scottish Anatomist), Oliver Lodge (1851-1940, British Physicist), Percy MacMahon (1854-1929, English Mathematician), Sidney Harmer (1862-1950, British Zoologist), Horace Lamb (1849-1934, British Mathematician), Thomas Holland (1868-1947, British Geologist), Edvard Westermarck (1862-1939, Finnish Philosopher and Sociologist), Vaughan Cornish (1862-1948, British Geographer), J. C. Stamp (1880-1941, British Economist), Helen Gwynne-Vaughan (1879-1967, Mycologist, head of the Women's Royal Air Force, 1918) and seven others including the wives of Bragg and Keith. A Boer War period photographic and stamp album, including mainly Royal Engineers related subjects: damaged railways, armoured trains, soldiers at leisure, 'Prince Christian's grave on day of burial', other named graves, group portraits of R.E. personnel, nurses, landscape studies, and certain British views including Stonehenge; also included are numerous stamps for various parts of Africa, stuck in the margins of the album, most with postmarks including military ones.
A British 1803 pattern grenadier company officer's sword, curved blade 31 in., etched with GR cypher and 'Osborns Warranted' and retaining some blue and gilt, 'GG' stamp close to hilt, gilt hilt of regulation form with knuckle bow incorporating royal cypher and flaming grenade motif, lion head pommel, wire bound grip.
A WARING AND GILLOW LTD MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD BEDROOM SUITE, c. 1910, comprising a three-section break front wardrobe having a moulded dentil cornice above a figured veneered frieze, two quarter veneered and oval inlaid doors, above four graduated drawers flanked by a full door inset with arch top mirror to either side, the interior fitted with pigeon holed, drawer and hanging compartments, shaped apron and on splayed bracket feet, 203cms wide x 210cms and a kidney -shape dressing table having a gilt metal pierced gallery, above drawer to the centre flanked by two drawers to either side with pierced circular back plates and ring handles on square tapered legs with brass caps and castors, 139cms wide, an oval toilet mirror on rectangular box base with lift-up top, on bracket feet, 72cms wide. A Rare Early 17th Century Italian Oval Drop-leaf Table. The silhouette cut plank supports housing deep drawers with moulded fronts and bearing the stamp VM. Standing on sledge feet joined by two long stretchers. 31 ins (79 cms) in height, 62 cms (157 cms) wide, 51½ ins (131 cms) deep. [By repute once owned by General Narbaez of Granada].
Two Continental Pewter Flagons & A Tankard: A large French flagon having a flat hinged lid with a twin acorn finial thumb-piece and a fleur-de-lis stamp on base 12 ins (31 cms) in height. A Double Litre flagon stamped Le Clerc à Lille on the base, measuring 10½ ins (27 cms) in height, and a Litre tankard stamped with initials C.H. on base.
