An elegant George VI silver three piece tea service, Wilson & Gill, Birmingham 1937, of melon form, comprising a teapot, milk jug and twin handled sugar basin, teapot with composition finial and handle, the jug and basin with leaf capped scroll handles, each raised on stepped circular foot, retail stamp to undersides, the teapot 9¾in. (24.7cm.) long, 6¼in. (15.9cm.) high, weight 31.9 tr.oz. (3) * Teapot with slight movement to handle, tiny 5mm dent to lower belly, jug and basin with tiny flea-bite nibbles, overall very good.
A cased set of twelve bright cut fiddle pattern teaspoons and tongs, William Hutton & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1907, with engraved floral decoration, the terminals inscribed with initials 'NHB', 5¼in. (13.3cm.) long, weight 11.0 tr.oz, the case with retail stamp of A.P. Roger, Guernsey. * All pieces good with strong decoration and marks, case with light wear.
