The original leather and oak case with brass corners and red lined interior, the lid with maker label and instructions, fitted out with cleaning equipment, screwdrivers, maker branded snap caps, cleaning cloths and oil bottles.UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED TO BUY THIS LOT.14.75" LOPGun 1The barrels ring when tapped.The right tube has a very light surface dent around the mid point and also evidence of a dent which has been lifted closer to the muzzle. The left tube has a very light dent around 4-5inches from the muzzle.The barrels are in proof and measure at: . 732 right and .731 left against a proof stamp of .729The walls measure a minimum of .23 right and .21 leftThe bores are clean and free from pitting.The blacking to the barrels fading in places, especially around the breech and muzzle but is generally good.The barrels are reasonably on face but there is a slight wobble perceivable with the forend removed.The actions function correctly with snap caps.The stock has a distinct cast off, it shows signs of wear, the chequering is flat, there are scratches and dents from use, there is a 5mm split emanating from the base of the top tang, as well as a dark line running from the side of the safety catch, which I cannot tell if this is a crack or just a grain line, see image 9 online. There is also an 8mm split to the top of the butt emanating from the point of the butt plate.Gun 2The barrels ring when tapped, there is however the sound of a bead of solder rattling up and down the inside of the barrel join when they are tipped up and down.There are no dents visible, however there is possible rivelling or dents removed.The barrels are in proof and measure at: .732 right and .732 left against a proof stamp of .729The walls measure a minimum of .22 right and .23 leftThe bores are clean and free from pitting. There is a small mark around the mid point of the left tube on the inside area of the wall.The blacking to the barrels is in good order with only slight wear to breech and muzzle.The barrels are on face and tight on the action with only the very slightest wobble with the forend removed.The actions function correctly with snap caps.The stock is free from splits or repairs, there are some scratches and dents from use but nothing defacing. The chequering is quite worn and flat in profile. There is a distinct cast off to the stock.CaseThe case is worn and tired showing signs of a long working life with plenty of scuffs scratches and marks. It is reasonable sound in construction with only small separations to the corners below the brass. One belt is missing, the one which is present is probably a replacement. The inside has small amounts of moth damage, there is wear to the lining and quite a few oil stains and marks. All the separations are still attached but some are looser than they should be. The lock is missing its escutcheon, there is no key.

Lee Metford .303 bolt action rifle LICENCE REQUIRED Lee Metford MkII L.S.A. .303 bolt action rifle converted to a Charger Loader Lee Enfield and set up for MkII round nose ball ammunition, 30-inch barrel fitted with folding ladder sights and secured by two bands the front being fitted with a cleaning rod and bayonet lug, the action with charger loader added, the wrist joint with Crown VR 1894 date and L.S.A. Co. stamp above numeral II, the reverse side stamped with further London Small Arms stamps and 1910 date and C.L.L.E. fitted with original volley sights, the wrist stamped with later owner name J. Cambell, Birmingham Nitro proofs, serial number 9262B, the bolt numbered 13747. UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .303 VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED .125cm long The rifle shows signs of age with a dark patina. The bore has a strong rifling pattern through most of the tube but does have worn rifling around the throat just ahead of the chamber. The metal finish outside of the rifle is of worn and fading bluing with some light speckled pitting and surface corrosion. The magazine is more corroded and pitted than the rest of the rifle. The VR stamping is lighter than would be expected indicating a refinish, perhaps at the time of conversion. The Action works correctly, the bolt face has some wear to it and some light surface dents around the primer area. The bolt has a different serial number to the rifle. The wood stock has lots of dents, scratches and marks, but no repairs or splits, there is a chip to the wood around the cleaning rod channel edge. The butt is a different colour and patina to the rest of the wood indicating it has been refinished or replaced.

UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED.14.5" LOP The shotgun is not on face and is loose between the barrels and action and a noticeable rattle.The barrels ring when tapped.There are no dents visible but there is some light riveling that can be seen towards the muzzle of the gun.The barrels are in proof and measure at: .733 right and .734 left against a proof stamp of .729.The walls measure a minimum of .20 right and .18 leftThe bores are clean there is some pitting marks towards the muzzle.The blacking to the barrels is in good order with only slight wear.The actions function correctly with snap caps, the safety catch works but is loose to the feel and does not have a positive snap forward and back that a newer spring would have.The stock is free from splits or repairs, there are some deep impressions to the bottom of the butt stock, and some other prominent scratches. The chequering is very worn.

The butt has been extended, the joint of this extension is parting and would benefit from being re-glued. The polish of the stock has gone opaque due to the damp conditions the gun has been stored in.
