A German officer's sword with straight 28 1/2in. blade, the side with double fuller, bearing the stamp of Robert Hermes, Solingen, with wire-bound shagreen grip and cast brass three-bar knuckle guard, the grip bearing applied brass crowned cipher; together with an associated steel scabbard.
