AFTER J M BROWN "Players Navy Cut Tobacco", colour print of tall-masted ship in harbour, housed in an oak frame with stamp to base "Player", 41 cm x 50 cm CONDITION REPORTS Has foxing and dirt marks all over and various insects/dirt trapped beneath the frame and picture. There are some rubbing marks to the right hand side of the mount. Glass is in need of a good clean as is frame which has splitting nad various holes, chips, knocks etc. General wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for further details
A Victorian pollard oak side cabinet by Holland & Sons, the top with raised back and rounded front corners above an open recess and three panelled doors, one bearing stamp "Holland & Sons", raised on a plinth base, 138.5 cm x 95 cm CONDITION REPORTS Various scratches, scuffs, marks etc throughout. Some deep impressed marks and black marks. Also some deep black scratched marks to the left hand side. Some small areas of losses to the veneer and some replacement sections of veneer and some chips to the edges. The side edges with various knocks, chips and losses all over. A circa 1700 silver trefid spoon (indistinct maker's mark and date stamp), initialled "M S" to top, approx 1.4 oz CONDITION REPORTS The bowl of the spoon is dented and misshapen with various light scratches throughout, the handle is slightly bent as is the top of the spoon. Hallmarks are slightly worn. All over general various signs of wear and tear throughout.
A Wemyss ware "Cabbage Rose" pattern slop pail of bucket form with cover, bears impressed mark and stamp for "T Goode & Co, South Audley St, London W" with cane work handle, 28 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has all over crazing, firing faults etc. The main bucket has three large cracks running from the top down as well as discolouration, staining etc throughout. A couple of bugs underneath the glass. The frame itself has dirt and general wear and tear. Provenance is taken from the back - see images for more details And came to us from a local deceased estate.

A .709” bore 32” barrel Russian model 1845 percussion smooth bore musket based on the design of the French Model 1842 musket. These muskets were direct copies of French military guns of the same period. The lock on this specimen is dated 1848 and bears the Cyrillic arsenal identifier СОЭ. It is in good condition and retains its original ramrod. It is likely that this was a Crimean war souvenir. Unlike the French model 1842 musket this is fitted with brass fittings and these bear the arsenal stamp and date. The lock is in working order and the overall condition is good.
1928 OLYMPICS Press photograph (original) measuring 9" x 7" showing an aerial photograph of the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium with the football final taking place. The match was Uruguay v Argentina and this was effectively the World Cup Final as the FIFA World Cup did not start until two years later , being held in Uruguay as they were effectively the World Champions.. Uruguay won 2-1 after a 1-1 draw. Black and white numbered photograph. Press stamp to rear. Generally good
