There is some minor dirt and wear to upholstery, mainly evident to the arms. There is some staining to the front part of the upholstery of seat. The wooden hand rests have some minor staining and minor discolouration and scratching/wear. There are some typical minor scuff marks and minor knocks to legs, with evidence of old staple marks to the underside where it has been reupholstered. There is no stamp, but there is a circular mark where a sticker (Danish furniture quality control) would have been. This item has come from an estate with various other examples of mid-century Scandinavian furniture.

The work has deckled edges and appears to have been stuck down to a sheet of card behind to give the impression that it is slightly floating in the frame. It has come away from the card it is mounted on at the bottom, and the sheet has a slight curve. Overall the work presents well and ready to hang.
