1985 Envelope hand addressed from Queen Elizabeth to her niece Margaret Rhodes (referred to as Mrs Denys Rhodes), this lot comprises a hand addressed 1985 registered envelope bearing printed EiiR motif and handwritten ER at the lower left, addressed in the same hand to The Hon. Mrs Denys Rhodes Queen Elizabeth II first cousin. ER with crown above cypher on the back of the envelope. Fine oval double ring Buckingham Palace date-stamps front and back as well as a red hooded Registered official paid date-stamp on the front.
