Weight of gun 2849 gramsUK SHOTGUN LICENCE REQUIRED TO BUY THIS LOT.14 7/8ths " LOPCondition report: The barrels ring when tapped.There are no dents visible.The barrels are in proof and measure at: .725 and .724 against a proof stamp of .724The bores are clean and free from pitting.The barrels are on face and tight on the action.The actions function correctly with snap caps.The stock is free from splits or repairs, there are occasional scratches and dents from use but nothing defacing.The insides of the action have some dried oil that could do with cleaning off for the gun to look and function well. Belgian 12 bore side by side hammer gun, 30 inch barrels choked 1/2 and 1/2, serial number 6149. UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED TO BUY THIS LOT.117cm long The barrels have some light pitting patches to the bores in both tubes. The right tube has some light dents to the outside of the barrel. The barrels ring when tapped and measure at .718 against the .716 proof stamp and .724 against the .724 proof stamps. The barrels have a small amount of wear to the blacking. There is a minute amount of wobble between barrels and action with the forend removed. The forend has a split to the inside which does not show on the outside of the gun and is only visible when the forend is removed. The stock has some light scratches.
Remington 1858 New model army .44 percussion revolver, 8 inch octagonal barrel fitted with later front sight and with remnants of original maker's roll stamp, six shot cylinder, brass trigger guard with inspectors stamp, serial number 114370, refinished overall.Section 58(2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification ID will be required if the lot it to be posted out.34cm long Condition report: The revolver has been completely refinished. Most of the factory makers roll marks have been lost from the barrel but the serial number and army inspectors letters still exist. In our opinion the revolver has probably been refinished and overhauled to allow it to be used by a modern target shooter. The reasoning for this is that the action is very positive with correct indexing, the mainspring is very strong. The front sight has been replaced with a dove-tailed sight to allow it to shoot accurately as original Remington front sights can be problematic to get to shoot to the correct aim point. The bore and inside of the cylinders have some pitting patches throughout which are too deep to polish out. A strong rifling pattern remains.

The buttstock is slightly loose and could do with tightening up, the forend has small splits on the thinnest part close to where it meets the action.

RAF Battle of Britain era Note Book for Workshop & Laboratory Records, named 903320 Evans, dated July 1940, with notes on gunnery practices, sighting, cleaning etc, also a collection of ten aviation photographs, including images of Derwent engine, Avro Tudor II, scenes of an Avro Lancastrian, and Merlin power egg, also an iron badge stamp, various patches and books relating to the RAF. The photographs were taken by an unknown photographer known to have lived and worked in the Alsager area towards the end of WWII and into the 1950's.

Colonel Oswyn St. Leger Davies, commanding the 8th Lancashire Fusiliers, killed in action in France 5th April 1918' the bugle by Boosey and Hawkes, stamped with broad arrow and 1915 date, another bugle by Henry Potter with broad arrow stamp, and 1909, as well as R.E.L.F (Royal East Lancashire Fusiliers) another by Hawkes and Son dated 1915 and stamped S.D.F.
