A Louis XVI two-colour gold folding pocket knife, Paris 1779, charge and discharge marks for the 'fermier' Jean Baptiste Fouache (1775-1781) and post Revolution marks, the steel blade stamped 'Delaunay', engine turned with a guilloche border and florette terminals, with a gold and a steel blade, 10.3cm (4in) long; in a shagreen case, probably later.
