A Third Reich Period Hitler Youth Dagger, maker Hartkoff & Co, Solingen, the straight single edge blade with maker 's stamp as per title to one side and traces of legend to the other, the ricasso stamped 'RZM M7/40' over a single quillon hilt and two piece chequered grip, one side inset with enamel NSDAP lozenge, the other possibly a clear plastic replacement, in a steel scabbard with black leather frog, blade length 13.5cm.

A small batch of the White Ensign Smilers sheet have been discovered with a solid all over phosphor coating, affecting all stamps in the sheet, although it is weaker in the right hand vertical column of 5, where the bands are distinguishable - in the other columns the bands cannot be made out at all and the phosphor appears evenly spread across the entire stamp surface, over the generic label and into the sheet margins. This is the first commemorative AOP in a very long time and will, no doubt be much sought after. Ex Robert Auty GB Errors Collection
