Circa 200-300 ADA broad slender parallel-sided spatha with convergent tip, lentoid in section with one square and one slightly rounded shoulder; rectangular-section tang at the shoulder developing to square-section at the upper end. Above the handle at the bottom of the blade is a Celtic modelled stamp with a stylised head.The standard length for a spatha is between 75 and 100cm, the longer ones generally round-tipped and used by cavalry. The spatha came to replace the short, stabbing sword (often called a gladius) for the infantry from the 3rd century AD. Altdeutschland / Württemberg - 1951/73, hervorragende Sammlung an gestempelten Marken und einigen Briefen, mit allen Spitzenwerten, darunter alle 18 Kreuzer Marken (Michel Nummer 5, 10, 15, 20, 29 (2), 34) und die besonders gesuchte, nur an wenigen Postämtern ausgegebene 70 Kreuzer Marke aus dem Jahre 1873 mit doppelten Trennungslinien (Michel Nummer 42b, Katalogwert 4.000 Euro), mit Altattest aus dem Jahre 1969 (Marke repariert). Obwohl Farbvarianten offensichtlich sind, wurde stets die günstigste Variante bei der Ermittlung von gut 20.000 Euro Michelwert berücksichtigt. Optisch sehr ansprechend gestaltete Sammlung, wie üblich in unterschiedlicher Qualität, welche wir zu einen günstigen Startpreis ansetzen. Württemberg Sammler sollten diese empfehlenswerte Sammlung unbedingt berücksichtigen.| Altdeutschland / Wurttemberg - 1951/73, excellent collection of used stamps and some letters, with all top values, including all 18 Kreuzer stamps (Michel number 5, 10, 15, 20, 29 (2), 34) and the particularly sought-after, only issued at a few post offices 70 Kreuzer stamp from 1873 with double dividing lines (Michel number 42b, catalog value 4,000 euros), with older written expertizing from 1969 (stamp repaired). Although color variants are obvious, the cheapest variant was always taken into account when determining a good 20,000 Euro Michel value. Visually very appealing collection, as usual in varying quality, which we set at a favorable starting price. Württemberg collectors, should definitely consider this recommendable collection.
