A collection of jewellery featuring two diamond set Victorian diamond set Etruscan revival brooches. Including a 15ct gold brooch, hallmarked Chester 1896, set with a 1.6mm diameter rose cut diamond, but in as found condition with missing C clasp and steel pin. Gross approximate weight 2.9 grams. Also a circular yellow metal Victorian archaeological revival style brooch, with a rubbed "15c" stamp 00and assessed accordingly. Set with a 2.2mm diameter old mine cut diamond. Steel pin and c-clasp fully functioning. Gross approximate weight 5.3 grams. A stamped 925 necklace, weighing approximately 9 grams. Lot also includes an untested gentleman's Rotary quartz watch, a yellow metal bow brooch, red glass brooch, purple stone and base metal brooch, two faux turquoise and paste brooches (some stones missing and pin missing) and other items.
An Maxor Chronographe Suisse aviators watch, in as found condition. Silvered dial with Arabic umerals and two subsidiary dials to an untested manual wind movement. Missing bezel, but with perspex glass. Marked with a Helvetia mark to the sides of the case. Case diameter approximately 38mm, lug width 18mm. with "Fixoflex" rolled gold bracelet. Along with a case back, loose, marked with Swiss "18K" stamp and Helvetia standard mark. Approximate weight of case back 2.6 grams.
A 14ct stamped pocket watch, marked with a Swiss Squirrel 14 carat gold stamp. White enamel dial to a keyless wind movement with a plated inner dust cover (winds but does not run). Case diameter approximately 52mm. Gross weight 109.3 grams approximately. Along with two silver pocket watches (untested). Approximate gross weight 163.4 grams. A gold plated example plus a sterling silver vesta marked for Joseph Gloster, Birmingham, 1902. Approximate weight 18.7 grams
A 9ct yellow and white gold hinged "Greek Key" design bangle set with 43 eight cut diamonds. Hallmarked for Sheffield (undated). With additional 0.25 stamp - in reference to estimated diamond weight. With an open box clasp with a single figure of eight safety bar. Gross weight approximately 14.0 grams

Great Exhibition.- Catalogue Officiel de la Grande Exposition des Produits de l'Industrie de Toutes les Nations, 1851, edited & translated by G.F.Duncombe and F.M.Harman, first French edition, title with border of wood-engraved national coats-of-arms, a few identified in ink manuscript, folding plan & guide loosely inserted, 18pp. advertisements at end, ink manuscript cross-references to margins at beginning (due to differences to the English catalogue), original printed grey-blue wrappers, upper cover with different coats-of-arms, most identified in ink, rubbed and slightly frayed at edges, a few chips, old ink stamp to cover and title, preserved in modern cloth drop-back box with manuscript leaf of notes loosely inserted, 1851 § Doyle (Richard) An Overland Journey to the Great Exhibition showing a Few Extra Articles & Visitors, 8 double-page wood-engraved plates conjoined to form a continuous strip, some foxing, original printed pale blue boards, rubbed & soiled, spine worn (reinforced), 1851, small 4to & oblong 8vo (2) *** Although there are several copies of the first in institutional libraries and the print run was 10,000 copies this is probably a rare survival, particularly as many of the numbers did not correspond to those in the English catalogue and it had to be reissued.The second item shows a procession of people on their way to the Exhibition dressed or carrying objects to identify their countries (America with slaves in chains and cowboys, Germany with large pipe, beer tankard & brass band, Scotland in kilts with cabers, Italy with opera singers and double bass etc.).
