Good .577” Volunteer Snider Breech-Loading 3 Band Rifle, barrel London proved with L.A.C stamps, later rear-sight to 1100 yds, hinged breech stamped ‘J.ms KERR & Co. 54 King William St’, lock stamped with crowned VR and 1856, regulation brass mounts, steel sling swivels and cleaning rod, butt with Enfield storekeeper’s stamp. Overall 54”, barrel 36.5”. Good untouched condition.
Balkans Flintlock Holster Pistol, Second Half of the 18th Century, tapered part octagonal with maker’s stamp, Italian lock without bridle engraved CHINELLI (CRINELLI?), foliate chiselled lock tail and cock, frizzen and barrel engraved en-suite, foliate carved full stock, butt cap, grip and side plate all thickly encrusted with sheet silver worked with scrolls in relief, silver muzzle sheath covered with engraved and nielloed scrolling decoration. Barrel 28cms, overall 40cms. Good untouched condition, trigger guard, throat-pipe and ramrod missing.
Turkish Officers Regulation Flintlock Holster Pistol c.1800, part octagonal swamped barrel struck at breech with large gold lined tughra, regulation lock struck below the pan with gold lined maker’s calligraphic stamp, full stocked with plain regulation brass mounts including fore-cap and butt-cap, chequered grip. Barrel 25.5cms, overall 40.5cms. Good condition and age patina, cock badly repaired.
