WW2 Japanese Army NCOs Samurai Sword - Katana. Marked with a serial number on the blade and the scabbard. The arsenal markings are stamped near the habaki on the handle. The blade is 27.5 inches long with a blood groove which runs the entire length of the blade on both sides. Heavy duty steel scabbard with the serial number stamped at the top of the throat, a single suspension ring just below the top section. Paint on both scabbard and sword almost totally absent
