Basket hilt with decorative red tassel to pommel and red lining to guard. Leather bound grip with wrapped with copper wire. No makers marks. Blued steel guard. Overall length 99cm. No scabbard.

Overall length 74cm. Complete with leather scabbard with brass fittings. Stitching to reverse has perished.

WW1 Imperial German Army Butcher Bayonet with 37cm long single edged fullered blade, maker marked "Alex. Coppel, Solingen". Spine of blade marked with Crown W15. Overall length 50cm. Wooden grip. Release stud is seized. The metalwork has been painted black at some point in it's history. Complete with scabbard which has holes rusted through where it has sat in the leather frog which is dated 1916.
