Guard with "GRV", silver wire bound shagreen grip. Overall length 100cm. Complete with leather covered scabbard, some damage to end of scabbard.

WW1 Imperial German Army Butcher Bayonet with 37cm long single edged fullered blade, maker marked "Alex. Coppel, Solingen". Spine of blade marked with Crown W15. Overall length 50cm. Wooden grip. Release stud is seized. The metalwork has been painted black at some point in it's history. Complete with scabbard which has holes rusted through where it has sat in the leather frog which is dated 1916.
