A rare 19thC Mameluke Sword, made for the 87th Light Infantry Regt., The South Cork Militia, the cross guard set with an embossed 87 and an infantry bugle on eachside, in original brass scabbard engraved 'S.C.M.10', two piece ivory hilt with some damage and a plain fighting blade, overall length 39in (99cm).
A 1796 pattern light cavalry officers sword in metal scabbard. Having shagreen grip and watered steel blade, length of the blade 87cm. Scabbard 89cm, blade 3.75cm broad. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Wooden collar missing from the scabbard, scabbard heavily pitted. Blade with some pitting. The cutting edge has been crudely ground. Handle in fair condition and firmly attached to the blade. No markings. Blade and scabbard straight.

WW2 German Third Reich Kriegsmarine Officer’s “War Booty” Dagger by WKC A good example, the dolphin and anchor etched blade with double fuller and to the forte the cutler’s details of “W.K.C.” with knights head logo. Gilt metal mounts with twist amber grip. Housed in gilt metal scabbard with engraved lighting bolts and this example with knotted rope twist supports for the two loose rings. The scabbard with contemporary hand engraved “G.W. 1XII 1936” “1940-” and “Royal Navy 1940-194?”. Crack to grip, gilt worn, blade in good clean condition.

The gilt with gilt anchor embossed cross guard, twist white grip, surmounted by an Imperial Crown. Complete with original gilt hammered scabbard, this with acorn embossed decoration and laurel wreath loose rings. Blade has been repointed and is now a length of 20.5cm
WW2 German Third Reich Army Officer’s Sword by Robert Klass. A good quality example, single edged plain fullered blade with cutler’s details to the forte. The hilt with single bar guard with embossed oakleaf decoration and to the cross guard a German Army eagle with outstretched wings. The black grip with silver twist wire binding is surmounted by a lion head pommel with ruby glass eyes. Complete with original steel scabbard. Retaining leather and bullion sword knot. Wear to the painted finish of the scabbard, gilt dulled, otherwise GC.
WW1 Period Prussian Artillery Officer’s Sable Sword. This heavy weight example with single edged curved blade, with etched decoration incorporating a Prussian Eagle and floral decoration. The hilt with a single brass bar guard terminating with a lion head pommel. The langet is embossed with crossed cannons (Cypher overlay absent) and to the shagreen grip twist wire binding. Complete with metal black painted scabbard. Blade is clean, age wear to the shagreen and scabbard.
