Blade is clean and straight. No movement in pommel, wires all in places. No markers markings. Scabbard is 82.2 cm approximately. Blade is 79 cm approximately.

He was a Lieutenent-Colonel of the Romney Fencible Cavalry (1794-1800), also later Captain of Sandgate Castle and Commissioner of Dover Harbour. John Brydges was a member of parliament for the constituency of Coleraine (1820-1831) and Armagh (1831-1832). He died in 1839.
