A Kris, with carved wood grip and bone mounted scabbard, length 35.5cm, together with a brass mounted jambiya, a kukri, a spearhead and a carving set (5).Condition report: The blade length of the kukri is 31cm. The butt cap is lacking, the blade is stamped number 1372 and is lightly rusted. The small knife (knives?) are missing.
A Sudanese Kaskara sword, with fullered 93.5cm blade, steel cross hilt and white metal grip and pommel, the tooled leather scabbard with white metal mounts, length 110cm.Condition report: The sword doesn't fit into the scabbard, the leather has possibly shrunk. The sword is generally good vintage condition. We believe this to be late 19th early 20th century.
A Victorian Royal Navy officers sword, the 80cm single edged fullered blade proof marked along with etched decoration of Queens Crown and Fouled Anchor. Retailed marked "Pote & Son, Naval Outfitters, Devonport", brass guard with Queens crown and anchor, folding lock plate. Wire bound shagreen grip. Has the remains of the original know still in place. Overall length 940mm. Complete with black leather scabbard with brass fittings, twin suspension rings.
