A Soviet Russian Cossack Shasqua, blade 32" stamped with small hammer and sickle mark and date "1930", brass hilt with wooden grip, the pommel bearing star over hammer and sickle and "C.C.C.P", with regimental markings and date "1930", in its brass mounted leather covered scabbard with side loops for a bayonet. A Prussian Infantry officer's 1889 pattern sword, double fullered blade 34", by Alex Coppel, Solingen, brass hilt with eagle on the guard and with wire bound sharkskin grip, in its steel scabbard, the hilt and scabbard stamped "5.J.1.1.". Basically GC (some wear); a No 5 Mk I Jungle carbine bayonet in its scabbard (one grip screw and spring catch missing); and a pewter tankard with badge of the Queens Regt and inscribed "2nd Battalion The Queens Regiment Falkland Islands Nov 85-Mar 86" (slightly dented) £40-50
A .577" 1853 pattern 3 band Enfield percussion rifle, 55" overall, barrel 39" with ordnance proofs, numerous inspector's marks, and government salemark, the lock bearing crown over "VR", "1856 Tower" and inspector's mark, fullstocked, the butt with "WO Pimlico 1862" stamp, brass mounts, the butt plate tang engraved "M5/1027", with sling swivels and original steel ramrod. GWO & C, the barrel retaining most original blued finish; with its triangular socket bayonet in its brass mounted leather scabbard. GC £500-800
Caucasus region possibly Chechnya or Dagestan, Ca. AD 1800 - 1900.A very fine steel kindjal dagger featuring a long double-edged blade with deep, central fuller tapering to the point. The hilt and rounded pommel presents intricate silver scroll and granulation designs, further ornamented with a pair of knobs. The fitting scabbard is enhanced with similar decoration to the upper face, whilst the rear is ornamented with beautiful nielloed floral and foliate designs.
