F.L.I. Pratt, Intelligence Corps. Served behind enemy lines in Europe and North Africa.  Post war in Palestine, Egypt and Middle East.

German Third Reich Army Officer's Dagger With Straps 10 1/4 inch, double edged blade.  Etched maker "Eickhorn Solingen" with squirrel trade mark.  Plated eagle crossguard.  Lower swastika removed.  Oak leaf ferrule and pommel.  Amber twisted spiral grip.  Contained in its plated, pebbledash scabbard with oak leaf decorated mounts.  Complete with alloy wire embroidery hanging straps with material backing.  Alloy mounts and oval buckles.  Some service wear.  Crossguard with plating loss and cracking.   Captured souvenir from the estate of Capt. F.L.I. Pratt Intelligence Corps.  Served behind enemy lines in Europe and North Africa.  Post war in Palestine, Egypt and Middle East.

Late 18th/Early 19th Century Indian Tulwar 31 1/2 inch, single edged, heavily curved blade.  All steel langets, crossguard, grip and disk pommel with heavily overlaid silvered floral and leaf decoration.  Together with remnants of its velvet covered, wooden scabbard, still retaining its two steel mounts with gilt floral decoration.  Sword with some surface rust.

1741 Pattern Continental Infantry Hanger and Scabbard 23 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade.  Forte with faint Armoury stamp.  Cast brass, one piece, single shell guard (rear shell officially removed).  Small quillon and D shape knuckle bow. Brass ball pommel and spiral ribbed grip.  Various issue stamps to the hilt.  Contained in its leather scabbard with brass chape and frog loop.  Some rusting to blade.

Post 1953 Court Dress Sword 32 inch, double edged, narrow blade.  Fine etched scroll foliage panels and crowned ERII cypher.  The forte with maker "Wilkinson Sword London".  Gilt brass, downturn shell guard with ball edge decoration.  Gilt brass crossguard, knuckle bow, pommel and square form grip, all with similar decoration.  Contained in its leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts.  Complete with gilt braid and wire sword knot.  Contained in its velvet lined, composite transit case.  Clean condition.   Vendor states sword belonged to "Sir Richard Parsons Ambassdor To Spain".

WW2 (1942) Japanese Officer's Signed Tang Katana Sword 25 1/4 inch, single edged blade.  Cloud edge hammon.  Darkened brass habaki.  Tang signed "Noshu Kane Toshi"  The reverse with signature dated "1942".  Brass, military, floral tsuba.  Darkened brass, matching fuchi and kabuto gane.  White shagreen covered grip with brass, floral menuki and dark brown cord binding.  Copper sarute (sword knot loop).  Contained in its black lacquered, wooden scabbard with brass obi-tori (hanging ring).  Still complete with its leather field cover.  Clean condition with good blade polish.

Japanese Signed Tang Sue Koto Katana Sword 28 1/2 inch, single edged blade.  Fine line edge hammon.  Double, narrow fullers.  Silvered habaki with vine scroll engraving.  Tang signed "Kane Nobu".  Three securing holes.  Iron chiselled tsuba with leaf decoration inlaid with gilt veins.  Chiselled steel fuchi and kabuto gane.  White shagreen covered grip with silvered and gilt feather and flower menuki.  Well replaced cord binding.  Contained in its red and shadow black lacquered saya scabbard.  A fine quality sword by a good smith.
