Quillon block, guard and pommel with typical spiral decoration, grooves and fullers. Hilt with probably ancient covering featuring copper wire binding and Moor's heads. Antique leather scabbard (signs of use and time, consumed parts) with interesting iron mounts with coeval spiral decoration on the front side and smooth on the back. Cap with one lug. length 109 cm.

dating: last quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Straight, single-and half- edged blade, with fuller at the first half, blued at the forte and engraved with small gold-inlaid floral motifs and trophies. Flat butt-plate on one side and decorated in relief on the opposite side. Mounts with typical ribbed and grooved spiral decorations on center of crossguard, on the guard, on the pommel and on the button of the parry quillon. The wire binding (earlier?) made of copper and brass wire and provided with Moor's heads. Without scabbard. length 101,5 cm.
dating: 1840-60 provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, The short sword with curved blade and flat faces, brass hilt in one piece, with numbers and 'FF' mark, large iron button. Black leather scabbard with evident signs of use and time. Brass mounts, chape marked 'GF' and crowned. Leather belt frog with remains of white color, provided with its loop to which the scabbard is attached (the leather is better preserved). Socket bayonet in brown patina with a 'T'-section blade. dating: Early 19th Century provenance: Kingdom fo Italy (Napoleonic), Straight blade of lozenge section, hexagonal towards the blued forte, decorated with small gilded engravings, with an eagle surmounted by a crown, with sticks and lightning bolts among claws, other friezes with floral motifs or small trophies on the left side. Empire style, brass hilt. Shell guard with crowned eagle loaded with a seven-pointed crown on the chest, among claws, sticks, lightning bolts and a five-pointed star. The guard decorated with architectural motifs. The pommel with a seven-pointed crown in relief on one side, and another effigy of the imperial eagle on the opposite side. Remains of silvering. Checkered, ebony hilt. With a leather scabbard provided with smooth, brass mounts. length 97 cm.
dating: 1815 - circa 1830 provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Curved blade with flat sides, pitting, featuring the motto 'VIVE L'ARTILLERIE' surmounted by the remains of a trophy still discreetly visible on the left side, with the Savoy crowned eagle above the motto 'VIVE LE ROI' on the right side . Brass hilt in one piece with the handle, featuring the crowned 'R' mark on the guard. Antique leather scabbard with brass mounts. length 68,5 cm.
dating: Late 18th - Early 19th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Narrow blade with fuller near the back, a small missing part at the tip and some pitting, with the motto 'VIVE LE ROY DE SARDAIGNE' (still fairly legible) on the left side, with the crowned Savoy eagle placed between floral decorations on the right side. The hilt with a lozenge-section sword-shell and a rounded guard (with repairs) featuring an additional quillon. Handle with (later?) leather coating and brass wire binding. Long outlined cap. Antique wooden scabbard with leather lining, brass chape and iron cap with heart-shaped button. Brass hilt consisting of two interlocking elements. The stirrup guard without langets and protruding towards the handle. In a separate element, made of brass, with nineteen 'knurls'. Complete with scabbard made of antique leather. Interesting variant. See a very similar sabre, Mod. 1797 in 'Le Lame del Re, Sabri e Spade dell'Armata Sabauda dal 1560 al 1831' (M. Lupo, publisher: Centro Studi Piemontesi, 2007, Italy), described and photographed on pages 411-414. Produced in 300 samples.
