dating: First half of the 20th Century provenance: Japan, Curved, single-edged blade, with fuller next to the back and nickel-plated. Brass hilt with guard partially pierced with cherry blossom. Long cap, with cherry blossom in relief. Horn grip with brass wire binding (small parts missing). Iron scabbard with one lug. length 87,5 cm.

dating: about 1810 provenance: England, Wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade, slightly enlarged toward the foible, with central fuller and tang, base marked 'HAYFIELD DUBLIN'. Iron, mono-quillon hilt with langets and long cap, wooden grip (small parts missing) and iron wire binding. Leather scabbard with iron mounts, outlined at the borders. Two suspension rings. length 96.5 cm.
