Napoleonic War Period 1796 / 1811 Light Cavalry Trooper Sword. A good example closely following the British 1796 light cavalry pattern, with regimental stamps to the cross guard 9TP 4.72, indicating possibly the 1811 Prussian Light Cavalry model. Heavy single edged curved blade, with inspection stamp 831 to the back of the blade. The hilt with single bar guard and leather covered wood grip. Housed in with original steel scabbard fitted with two loose rings and with matching issue stamps. Overall GC, some age and service wear. It is interesting to note that a large number of the Prussian Model 1811 sword were supplied by the British from stocks of the 1796 Light Cavalry sword in 1807 and later in 1813. It was carried by Troopers of the Dragoon and Hussars Regiments and saw action at the Battle of Waterloo.

This device repeated to the open bar guard. Housed in leather scabbard. Overall age wear to the scabbard and plating of the hilt, blade clean.

WW1 1915 Dated Indian Military Issue Kukri A good example with single edged blade of typical form. Narrow rear fuller. The forte stamped with Indian broad arrow over 39 and date 1915. Wooden ribbed grip with steel rivets and flattened steel pommel. Housed in its original polished brown leather covered wooden scabbard and leather frog. The scabbard dated 1915. A very good clean example.

A WWII German Nazi Third Reich standard issue Kriegsmarine naval officers dress dagger, the hilt having a gilt wire-wrapped celluloid handle, eagle pommel holding a wreathed swastika, straight cross guard with globular finials, anchor emblem and push-release button, the 25cm double-edged double-fullered stiletto blade marked WKC, with knight's helmet motif in oak leaf and chased decorated scabbard with twin hanger rings, 42cm long overall.
Cavalry sabre, 91cm curved blade, unmarked, two bar guard, wire bound grip, with metal scabbard.Condition report:Scabbard is free from any indentations but overall patina is poor - corrosion and light rusting throughout. Scabbard and blade both retain a good shape. Scabbard measures 95cm, blade is 91cm, overall length is 109.5cm. The pommel is tight and without any movement. The wire grip moves slightly but remains tight and effective. The blade is heavily greased. Pommel and hilt are stamped '22' but no other maker's marks.

Condition Report : Generally sound, original condition; some light surface rusting and areas of pitting to blade; blade slightly bent. An 1864 pattern cavalry sword, with 89cm blade and pierced guard, steel scabbard, overall length without scabbard 103cm.Condition Report: Blade with pitting and corrosion marks throughout which have been cleaned. Scabbard with one large dent and other smaller dents, scratches and scuffs and a painting of pitting and an overly cleaned appearance. Leather stop at the end of the blade is not original. Grip with genera, age wear and possible a tear which has been repaired but not recently. Pommel numbered 86 or 98. Please see additional images. Scabbard may not be original to blade.
