A Third Reich era German SS officer's sabre (Standerten Fuhrer) circa 1936, with stirrup-form anodised steel hilt, dovehead pommel, shagreen grips bound with wire. One langet bears the SS symbol, the other bears the runic "Tyros", symbol, interpreting to "Be Fearless, True and Brave" and that "Death Cannot Kill".
