The vendor has provided the following information: The crest of Maxwell of Herries. This set possibly a wedding gift from Gwendolyn, Lady Herries and Duchess of Norfolk (she inherited the Scottish title as the 12th Lady Herries of Terregles in 1937) to her son Bernard, 16th Duke Of Norfolk, also in 1937.
