Konvolut 3-tlg. TIBET, 1. Hälfte 20. Jh.: 1.) Prunkdolch Khuhuri. Gekrümmtes Messer mit Holzgriff und zwei Beimessern. Die versilberte Scheide ist im Relief mit Fischen und einem Drachen auf Rankengrund verziert sowie mit farbigen Steinen besetzt, L: 43 cm. 2.) Paar Zimbeln (tib. tingshag) aus Messing, mit einem Lederbändchen versehen, in einer Deckeldose aus Metall, die mit den acht buddhistischn Symbolen geschmückt ist, D. der Dose 8,5 cm. 3.) Muschelhorn (shanka). Muschel tlw. ummantelt von getriebenem Metall mit Türkis-und Korallenbesatz, L: ca. 21 cm. Erworben in Ladakh/Indien. Tlw. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren.| Mixed lot of 3 pieces TIBET, 1st half 20th cent: 1st) Khuhuri magnificent dagger. Curved knife with wooden handle and two by-knives. The silver-plated scabbard is decorated in relief with fish and a dragon on a vine background and set with coloured stones, l: 43 cm. 2nd) Pair of cymbals (tingshag) made of brass, with a leather band, in a metal lidded box decorated with the eight Buddhist symbols, diameter of the box 8.5 cm. 3rd) Shell horn (shanka). Shell partly encased in embossed metal with turquoise and coral trimming, l: approx. 21 cm. Acquired in Ladakh/India. Signs of age and wear in places.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: China, Long, straight, double-edged blade, ribbed at the center with some pitting. Mongolian style, silver hilt. Quillon with filigree spirals decoration on both sides and cabochons of turquoise and coral stones, the sides with spirals and curl engravings. Spindle-shaped grip with two coral cabochon ring nuts, and with turquoise and lapis lazuli stones. Three-lobed pommel, also made of silver and worked en suite with the quillon. Silver scabbard richly decorated with geometric motifs and filigree spirals. With various flower compositions made of coral and coloured stones, like the quillon. All the borders covered with cabochons. Some missing parts and replaced stones on both the sword and the quillon. Scabbard with two dragon's heads holding the suspension chain. Provided with an expert's report for Cites purposes which certifies its production before 1947, it therefore complies with European rules for the trade of protected species. length 96,3 cm.
dating: 1826 provenance: Poland, Curved, single-and-false-edged blade with wide fuller, tang marked 'Warszawskv 1826' on the right side and 'Arsenat' on the left side. Brass quillon with three loop guards and long cap. Wooden handle with leather wire binding covering. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings on narrow bands. Very rare. length 99 cm.
dating: First half of the 20th Century provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Finely engraved straight blade, with coat of arms and Savoy eagle, crossed anchors, trophies and floral motifs. Gilded bronze hilt, with small turned valve on the back, anchor and scales in relief. Long cap ending in a crowned lion's head. Fish leather cover with metal wire binding. Leather scabbard with gilded mounts decorated en suite, two lugs. Complete with clutches, sword knot and green cloth case. length 91 cm.
dating: about 1790 provenance: Europe, Solid, wide, single-and-false-edged blade with wide fuller and tang, engraved with fasces among floral motifs on the right side, and with the monogram 'CL' among floral motifs on the left side. Massive hilt with flat valve, stirrup loop guard. Beautiful pommel with plumed helmet on a lion's head, long cap. Wooden handle covered with leather and metal wire binding. Wooden scabbard with leather covering and brass mounts, two suspension rings and iron knuckle guard. length 96 cm.
dating: 1845 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Wide, curved single-and false-edged blade with a wide fuller, tang with mark of the Royal Factory of Naples, dated '1845' and with another mark. Marked 'C.M.N. 1926' on the back. Brass hilt with large knuckle guard and short cap, remains of a mark. Faceted and blackened iron handle. Leather scabbard with brass mounts, cap with loop. length 81 cm.
dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: British India, Wide, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller at the center, the first part engraved and gilded on a blue background with sun, trophies, star with book and floral motifs; the base marked 'WOOLLEY and Co. Sword Cuttlers to the Hon.ble East India Comp.y'. The second part etched with sun, stars, winged fasces and with thunderbolts, trophies and floral motifs up to the first part of the weak. One-quillon, gilded metal hilt, provided with langets, cap carved like horsehair, faceted grip back. Wooden grip with remains of fish skin covering and metal wire binding. Re-gilded, iron scabbard without suspension rings (pertinent?). length 96 cm.
dating: 1843 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Straight blade of hexagonal section, with floral engravings at the forte and signed 'Labruna / 1843 Napoli'. Gilded brass hilt. Two-valve butt plate decorated in relief on the hollow side with Asclepius' rods in relief. The gilding is well preserved. Handle featuring the monogram 'FII' for Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies, in relief as the other decorations. Pommel with floral decorations in relief. The guard worked in the shape of a snake wrapped in laurel fronds. Wooden scabbard (slightly short) covered in white leather with remains of lacquering, one band missing. Chape and cap with gilding en suite with the smallsword and typical palm-shaped friezes. One lug. Interesting smallsword probably for a court physician. See a similar smallsword in Calamandrei 'Storia dell'Arma Bianca Italiana' (Ed. Olimpia 1999), p. 482 (at the center, with photo). length 97,3 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Europe, Micro-rifled, octagonal, 13 mm cal. barrels (clean bores, visible rifling), numbered '1' and '2' at the base and with foresight; tangs numbered en suite and with adjustable rear sight. Backward spring locks with smooth lock plate, checkered, wooden butts, iron trigger guards with finger support, set trigger. Working mechanism. Kept in antique pistol case with ramrod and cartridge extractor (scabbard and compartments missing). length 36 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Curved, single-and-false-edged blade with a broad central fuller, groove on the back and tang. Brass hilt with remains of gilding, including langets and three loop guards. Long cap. Wooden grip covered of leather and metal wire binding. Iron scabbard (a pitting) with brass mounts. Two suspension rings. length 100.5 cm.
dating: provenance: Poland, Wide, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller and tang. Iron hilt with cross-shaped quillon, with langets, center of crossguard engraved with a cross, one quillon with pyramidal button end, the other continuing as a loop-guard, flat and rising upwards. Iron pommel. Leather-covered wooden grip. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with mounts and four suspension rings. It is not easy to establish whether the weapon is restored and heavily cleaned or whether it is a model manufactured in later times. length 79 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Austria, Beautiful, curved, single-edged blade, with hollow tip and a barely hinted yelman, thickened back. The forte engraved with remains of gilding. On both sides a Turk's head, stars, crescents, trophies. With fasces on the right side. The back with gilded and engraved laurel fronds in the first part; the tang completely gilded. Steel hilt. The parry quillon with double open-work for the sword knot. Flat guard, above it three loop guards arranged in two separate blocks: pulling the outermost one, the others automatically rotates forming a cage-shaped guard. Long smooth cap. Fish-skin handle without wire binding. Iron scabbard with two lugs. length 104 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Wide, long, curved, double-edged blade made of damask and with central rib. Gold-inlaid with Arabic writings and floral motifs at the first part. Large, one-piece hilt made of walrus tooth (small missing parts and cracks). Wooden scabbard covered with silver foil decorated with bands, partially pierced and engraved mounts. Missing chape. The back with a suspension loop and a mark. Rare. Another, almost identical example in 'Islamic and Oriental Weapons and Armour: A Lifetime's Passion', by Robert Hales, 2013 illustrated at page 86 no. 196 with text. length 54 cm.
dating: 1830 provenance: Italy, Curved, single-and short false-edged blade with fuller. Engraved with trophies of arms set in floral motifs at the first half, on both sides. Base engraved on one side 'P. Knecht' and on the other 'Solingen' between geometric motifs. Cross-shaped, brass hilt engraved with floral motifs, straight quillons with acorn-shaped ends. Grip with horn grip scales, angled and pierced pommel. Iron scabbard with brass mounts decorated en suite, two suspension rings. length 88 cm.

Brass hilt richly engraved with floral motifs, flat quillon with button-shaped ends, langets, loop guard with fine grooves on the sides, long cap. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mounts, beautifully engraved with trophies and floral motifs. Iron suspension rings and knuckle guard. Very rare. length 94 cm.
dating: Second quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Southern Italy, Straight, single-and-false-edged blade, with central groove. The first part carved and engraved with floral motifs, the tang carved with winged animal and hound in bas-relief. Horn grip with grooves (minor moth damage) and partially engraved silver staves, silver cap and ring nut. Leather scabbard with silver mounts, cap with engraved pommel depicting a sun. length 35 cm.
