The shagreen grip is with wire binding and surmounted by a lion head pommel. Housed in original black leather scabbard with gilt metal mounts and two loose rings. Retaining correct small pattern bullion knot. Good clean condition, slight age wear.

The hilt with S shape crossguard the grip surmounted by a forward looking Lion head pommel. Housed in black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. Overall GC, repair to leather scabbard.
Georgian Napoleonic War Period Royal Navy Midshipman Dirk. A scarce fine quality example, the 13 1/2 inch curved blade with blue & Gilt (25% remains)decoration to the blade depicting Trophy of Arms. The fire gilt cross guard is mounted with a pair of oval langets, these embossed with a figure of Britannia. The white grip surmounted by a lion head pommel its mouth securing a gilt chain guard ... Accompanied by a black leather scabbard, with gilt mounts. The blade with age wear and pitting. Please note the dirk has a restored scabbard with replacement leather and original gilt mounts. Scabbard shrunk, blade does not fully fit.

Complete with well figured light coloured wood scabbard, with ivorine chape and large throat mount. Blade with rust.

Complete with original steel scabbard, this made with a slanted 45 degree angle metal belt loop. Overall GC clean condition. This pattern of fighting knife was carried by various units including members of the Folgore Parachute Brigade.

Elrond (Hugo Weaving) presented the sword to Aragorn and it was worn by the future King of Gondor throughout the film. This item was acquired directly from Weta Workshop by licensee United Cutlery as a reference piece for producing licensed replicas. Made from solid urethane, the scabbard is hand-painted black with silver-color and gold-color detailing. It features engraved text reading "Replica, United Cutlery" a reference number "0048W", the date "08.07.03", and a Weta logo. The lot remains in good overall condition with signs of intentional distressing and scuffing. It comes with two letters of authenticity. WW2 German SMF Solingen DLV flyers dagger with 16cm steel blade, nickel downswept cross-piece and pommel and leather covered grip, in leather and nickel scabbard with leather suspension strap L34cm overall. After WWI Germany was forbidden an air force by the Treaty of Versailles however the Deutscher Luftsport-Verband (German Air-sport Association) was formed in March 1933 from various sports flying clubs and had branches for aeroplane, gliding and balloon flying. Under cover of the sporting DLV, many future Luftwaffe pilots trained to fly. DLV was embodied with the NSKK in March 1935 and 1st March 1937 Luftwaffe formed.
