A British cavalry sabre, with scabbard, with a later sabre with indistinct name to the blade and with wirebound shagreen type grip (2).Condition Report: The earlier sabre is in heavily worn condition which is pitted throughout and rusted and is very tired, etc, the other wirebound fishskin sword with general wear, pitting, tarnishing, etc, throughout. The scabbards are not dented but may not be original to the blades. Blades insert in one way. Blades are not bent, blade lengths are 56cm with a width of 3cm at the guard, the other is 57.5cm with a width of 2.9cm at guard. One of the scabbard tips is slightly rounded. The pommels do not have any jiggle. The scabbards and swords are numbered - please see additional images.

German Luftwaffe Officer's Sword by Paul Weyersberg & Co Solinger, the alloy hilt with curved feathered cross guard, wire bound leather grip and swastika disc pommel, 67.5cm straight double edged blade, complete with a matching leather and aluminium mounted scabbard with hanging strap. Provencance: Gifted to the vendors grandfather, a prominent Edinburgh Accountant, in the early 1950's by a visitor to the city's Overseas Club, it has remained with family under wraps since then.This sword was given to us with the provenance stated in the description, and seems consistent with that provenance. However, we are not militaria or sword specialists, and offer no guarantees. Please examine the photographs or the sword in person and draw your own conclusions.

German Kriegsmarine Officer's type dagger, 38cm long, blade 26cm etched both sides with a large foiled anchor and foliage, maker's mark 'E Bonsmann Solingen', white bakelite type grip, brass wire binding. In brass scabbard decorated with lightning bolts etc. Good/very good condition. (Please note that we are unable to post this item overseas)

Paul Scheurich (1883-1945) for Meissen - Gentleman figure with cockatoo modelled 1922, male reclining with his left leg outstretched and holding an cockatoo, blue crossed sword mark, incised with model number A1068, 8¼in. (21cm.) wide, 7 7/8in. (20cm.) high.* Condition: No chips, hairlines or cracks found. We believe that there has been professional restoration to the tip of the scabbard at the back of the figure - this has been exceedingly well executed. We have found no other restoration on the figure.
