The second knife measures 22cm overall with a wooden grip and a 125mm long blade which has an inscription which reads "Cocos Islands 3/4/45 - 8/7/45 Ornamental Kukri knife made out of wreck of German Cruiser "EMDEN" by Malayan Natives". Issued prior to WW1 probably to 2nd Bn. who were at Mons, Maine, Aisne, La Barrel, Nonne Broschen and 1st Ypres in 1914. An above average example.
