The King of Stormwind wielded his signature sword during the final battle between the humans and Orcs.This lot consists of an ornate urethane broadsword etched with runes and painted silver and gold with a blue woven grip, a spiked gold-color pommel, and a Stormwind lion emblem molded onto the handle, as well as a metal-studded leather scabbard etched with a matching emblem and painted silver and gold. Both are aged by production to appear battle-worn, with fraying leather and discoloration to the blade. Roman centurion Aquila used his sword and dagger as he commanded the northern garrison in 140 A.D. Britannia.The metal-color hard rubber sword resides in a crimson scabbard with a leather strap. The hard rubber dagger consists of a bladeless rubber handle with a pommel which can be affixed into a gray sheath. Both are intentionally distressed by the production to look battle worn and authentic. EAGLE, THE - Falvius Aquila's (Aladar Lakloth) SwordFlavius Aquila's (Aladar Lakloth) sword from Kevin Macdonald's historical drama The Eagle. The father of Roman Centurion Marcus Aquila (Channing Tatum), Flavius wielded his sword as he led the Ninth Legion into the unknown lands of Britannia. The sword is made of resin and rubber with a dark gunmetal gray-color eagle head at the pommel. The black and brass-color resin scabbard features metal bands depicting wreaths. There are two brass hoops either side used to attach the leather strap to the scabbard and together. It exhibits some splitting and separation on the grip. JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912) STEEL KATANA SWORDThe steel blade, 66cm long, with pierced iron Tsuba, cord wrapped ray skin hilt with two dragon Menuki and parcel-gilt Kashira, with later leather WW2 leather scabbard, 93.5cm long overall; Together with a later Mariner’s sailcloth caseHanded to Major Alan Cooper of the East Kent Regiment, known as The Buffs, shortly after the surrender of the Japanese in World War Two, August 1945. The carrying bag was reputedly stitched by a crew member of the Landing Craft Tank that Major Cooper commanded. Condition report: The steel blade with various small nibbles to the edge and some oxidization. The hilt removable with no signature beneath. A leather collar probably concealing the Fuchi. Some minor spots of oxidization wear and rubbing overall. Leather scabbard dating from the World War Two. General light scuffs and scratches. The blade is approx 67cm long and the leather scabbard 70cm high.
