The leather on the belt is somewhat worn commensurate with age and use. Split down the scabbard on the underside and signs of worm damage. Blade with some oxidation.

Guard is engraved to "HP Stead, 4th/7th Middlesex Regt 25/8/15". Wire bound Shagreen grip. Overall length 975mm. No scabbard. (Research: Harold Percy Stead rose through the ranks from Private Soldier in the 14th London Regt and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. into the Middlesex Regt on the date engraved on the sword. Was later attatched to the RE and the Royal Warwickshire Regt.)

No motto to blade which is correct for a 1939 produced knife. Blade has been period sharpened. Black grips inset with enamel Hitler Jugend insignia. Overall length 240mm. Complete with scabbard which retains the leather suspension loop which working press stud fastener.

New to the market war souvenir of a member of the Royal Engineers.

A rare British MKIV Pattern Kukri knife, with 300mm long blade maker marked and dated "WSC 51" (Wilkinson Sword Co 1951). Black ebonised wooden grip. Overall length 420mm. Complete with black leather scabbard with metal chape. Scabbard contains both small knives, again marked "WSC51". Complete with it's frog which has two straps to secure to the belt. Only 1,400 examples of these were ever made and it is the rarest British military issue Kukri knife.
