The first side engraved with trophies and floral motifs, in the centre carved with fishbone, on the forte manufacturer's monogram 'S&J' and on the other side 'Solingen'. Fine silver hilt with langets, stirrup guard with toothed decoration. Horsehair pommel, long cap. Leather-covered wooden grip with metal wire binding. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mounts with two suspension rings, iron knuckle-guard. Rare. length 91.5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Slightly curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with double groove near the weak, the back strongly reinforced and carved with waves, engraved and gilded at the first part of the blade with the Savoy coat of arms between fine floral decorations on a gilded background. At the forte the inscriptions 'I. E. BLECKMANN' marked in gold on one side and 'SOLINGEN' on the other. Typical iron hilt, with cross-shaped quillon with long, faceted cap. Anatomical wooden grip. Complete with iron scabbard with two suspension rings. Iron parts in patina. It needs cleaning. length 99.5 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: Brescia, Solid, curved, single-and short false-edged blade with wide central fuller and deep groove on both sides of the back. The back marked 'Man.a Brescia Paolo Landi'. Carved and engraved iron grip, langets shaped as a spider's web, S-shaped quillon with curly ends and decorated with floral motifs. Long, curved pommel engraved with floral motifs, long cap. Iron scabbard, engraved with a beautiful trophy with mask in the centre and between floral motifs at the front. Two suspension rings on grooved bands. length 103 cm.
dating: 1845 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Wide, curved single-and false-edged blade with a wide fuller, tang with mark of the Royal Factory of Naples, dated '1845' and with another mark. Marked 'C.M.N. 1926' on the back. Brass hilt with large knuckle guard and short cap, remains of a mark. Faceted and blackened iron handle. Leather scabbard with brass mounts, cap with loop. length 81 cm.
dating: 1820-30 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Interesting, flat, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with two segments featuring three grooves and the last one with two grooves, richly engraved with symbols, moon, stars, bust of a Turk, trophies and geometric motifs on a gilded background at the first part. Oriental-style hilt with cross quillon, angled pommel engraved with floral motifs (small missing part) and small chain. Ebony handle carved with scales. Beautiful leather-covered wooden scabbard stitched with metal wire and with two large brass mounts engraved with floral motifs and with a decoration depicting a female figure in bas relief with a vase and a trophy of arms. Two suspension rings on bands, a lion's head in relief on the front side and floral motifs in bas relief on the rear side. Very rare. length 89 cm.
dating: provenance: Poland, Wide, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller and tang. Iron hilt with cross-shaped quillon, with langets, center of crossguard engraved with a cross, one quillon with pyramidal button end, the other continuing as a loop-guard, flat and rising upwards. Iron pommel. Leather-covered wooden grip. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with mounts and four suspension rings. It is not easy to establish whether the weapon is restored and heavily cleaned or whether it is a model manufactured in later times. length 79 cm.
dating: late 17th Century provenance: Poland, Wide, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller, enlarged tip, on one side the inscription 'FRINGIA' between round and toothed segments, the other side engraved with sun, moon and stars; iron, cross-shaped hilt, with long langets, pointed, angled, oval, iron pommel, leather-covered wooden grip with flower carved rosette. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with iron mounts and two suspension rings on wide bands. This beautiful and rare sabre is illustrated and documented in the book 'Vivat Hussar - Le Lame degli Ussari' by Tiziano Tonelli, Ermanno Albertelli Editore, Parma, 2010 on page 37. length 93 cm.

Handle completely covered with silver foils decorated with humps and rosettes (one missing). Wooden scabbard completely covered with silver foils engraved with floral motifs and with a large rosette on a clover-shaped base. Thickened chape decorated en suite. The rear part of the scappard smooth, covered at the top with leather and featuring a small pocket for the coins. Provided with wooden clutch for the hook, the hook decorated with two silver medals engraved with flowers and intertwined, silver-thread bands. Rare. length 60 cm.

The back with a suspension loop and a mark. Rare. Another, almost identical example in 'Islamic and Oriental Weapons and Armour: A Lifetime's Passion', by Robert Hales, 2013 illustrated at page 86 no. 196 with text. length 54 cm.

The tang and base covered with nielloed silver foil and with a turquoise frame (one missing part). The central band also in nielloed silver, the small brown horn grip scales held by brass nails. Wooden scabbard with leather covering and nielloed silver mounts decorated with geometric and floral motifs on a background of dashes. length 30,3 cm.

Quillon with filigree spirals decoration on both sides and cabochons of turquoise and coral stones, the sides with spirals and curl engravings. Spindle-shaped grip with two coral cabochon ring nuts, and with turquoise and lapis lazuli stones. Three-lobed pommel, also made of silver and worked en suite with the quillon. Silver scabbard richly decorated with geometric motifs and filigree spirals. With various flower compositions made of coral and coloured stones, like the quillon. All the borders covered with cabochons. Some missing parts and replaced stones on both the sword and the quillon. Scabbard with two dragon's heads holding the suspension chain. Provided with an expert's report for Cites purposes which certifies its production before 1947, it therefore complies with European rules for the trade of protected species. length 96,3 cm.
