A World War II Japanese Officers sword and scabbard, shagreen bound handle, bronze Tsuba and 68cm single edge blade, faux shagreen pattern scabbard all in good condition. This sword was surrendered by a senior Japanese Officer to Captain Harry Andrews of the armed Liberty Ship Samnesse (typed provenance from family)
A Queen Elizabeth II ceremonial officer's sword with snakeskin and wire bound grip, housed in leather scabbard CONDITION REPORTS Condition is OK - conducive with age. Blade has been oiled although there are some small sections of rust. Stamped "91346?". There is some pitting to the knuckleguard and the handle has worn patches. The leather case is generally OK - has small scuff marks, the end is worn and the carrying loop is split.
