AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY MILITARY STYLE CURVED OFFICERS SWORD, possibly Cavalry, blade is approximately 93cm in length, very faint markings re-maker no complete, surface marks to blade, scabbard has been painted in red oxide but has the two mattachment rings Condition Report Dents to back of blade, doesn't look to be bent, damage to tip. Blade fits well without catching, nothing is loose on the sword. Scabbard looks ok with no significant signs of damage but paint becoming worn
WW2 German Hitler Youth Knife by Anton Wingen Jr, standard pattern example with the chequered grip having enamel HJ diamond to the centre. Rear grip replaced by wood slab (possibly period). Housed in blackened scabbard with leather belt loop attachment. Blade with RZM M7/51/41 mark, which is the RZM code for the maker Anton Wingen Jr, Solingen. Blade shows some wear.
Cased Third Reich Style SA Honour Dagger, standard design SA dagger with reverse of the blade having Ernst Rohm dedication. Gilt cross guard and top fitting with oak leaves relief. Housed in leather covered scabbard and complete with a presentation case. Dagger is a post war representation. Accompanied by two reference books on Third Reich Militaria. (3 items)
Two late 20th century reproduction katanas, one with a signed tsuba and a four character mark to its tang, 70cm long blade, 103.5cm overall, the other with a menuke to its grip, both the tsuba and tang are unsigned, a lacquered scabbard decorated with flowers, 74cm long blade, 103cm overall, both a/f. ER II British Naval officers dress sword, the blade is etched with crowned anchor amidst scrolls. Retailed by Gieves, gilt metal hilt with folding side guard etched B.E Clarke. Lions head pommel with wire bound fish skin grip and dress knot with gilt metal mounted leather scabbard and transit bag. Blade 79cm longSword is in very good condition. One minor mark to the grip. Blade is secure. Some light surface scratches to the end of the blade, the direction of them suggests its as a result of cleaning. 2 tiny nicks towards the tip, noticed only by touch. Slight rough spot to the edge beside the royal crest (see additional images). Leather scabbard is in great condition. Transit bag in good condition.
Officers sword, blade etched, Cromarty Artillery volunteers made by Hobson & Sons London with scabbard.Sword is in good condition. Blade is secure. No noted chips or dinks to the blade. Handle and grip are intact. Slight discolouration to handle. Couple of small spots of rust on the bottom of the blade near the handle, may just need cleaned. Scabbard has no dents or damages but some discolouration. Both blade and scabbard are straight with no bends. Blade measures 82cm, total scabbard length 84.5cm

A gold-lacquer and Shibayama-inlaid tanto koshira-e (ornamental mounting for a short sword)Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th centuryThe scabbard and hilt of kinji lacquer with details of togidashi maki-e, elaborately inlaid in typical Shibayama style encrustations with an ornate basket of ikebana suspended from the branch of a flowering cherry tree on one side and a pair of mandarin ducks inlaid in high relief cloisonné-enamel swimming beneath wisteria and cherry branches on the reverse, the tsuka (hilt or handle) embellished with a different vase of ikebana, the kashira (pommel at the tip of the tsuka), fuchi-gashira (hilt pommel and collar) and kojiri (decorative ornament at the base of the scabbard) of silver, applied with formal foliate designs in coloured enamels; the blade of hirazukuri form and plain; unsigned. Unusual Post WW1 Converted M98 Bayonet Into a Log Splitter single edged, butcher bayonet with rounded point. Steel, turn up quillon. Steel pommel with locking stud removed. Wooden, grooved slab grips. The tip of the blade with hinged bracket secured to the scabbard with four V slots cut into it to hold the logs. Scabbard with transfer “Splitter D.R.P.a”

White metal crossguard and top guard. Brown, wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and swastika and enamelled circular SA device. Contained in its steel scabbard with white metal mounts. Complete with belt hook. Tip of blade with minor nicks and re pointed.

Two oak leaf bands retaining two loose suspension rings. Release button from crossguard absent and chip to top of grip. Uncleaned condition.

Complete with leather hanging strap with plated top hook stamped with “RZM” over “M5/71”.

Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather covered, field scabbard. Some loss of plating to hilt.

Steel, three bar guard with downswept quillon. Steel pommel, backstrap with grip ears. Wooden, ribbed grip. Guard marked “G17”. Contained in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.
1796 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword 32 1/2 inch, single edged blade with large fuller. Etched stand of arms, royal coat of arms and crowned “GR” cypher. Back edge engraved “Runkel Solingen”. Gilt brass, double shell guard. Gilt brass, D shape knuckle bow. Gilt brass, floral urn pommel. Silvered wire grip. Now contained in an 1821 Infantry, leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts. The throat with maker’s shield “Wilkinson”. Possibly been together for some time as good fit.

Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its plated steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings. Very minor plating spots.
