1803 pattern Infantry officers sword known as the `Poulson Sword` together with a parchment Muster list, by Osborn`s with engraved blade and GR monogram, lions head pommel and guard (partially missing) three scabbard mounts (lacking leather) one monogrammed `J.P` blade length 76cm The parchment and ink muster list details a Grenadier Company with pencil alterations to the soldiers serving within the company. This sword can be traced back through the current vendors family to John Poulson (1795 - 1862) son of Joseph Poulson, Master Potter of Minton Stoke on Trent. The parchment list has always accompanied the sword and possibly details the unit Poulson served with.
Meissen figure group modelled as a Gentleman wearing armour and lady companion, cut through crossed swords mark and incised model number 543 to base, late 19th century, 23cm high Condition report: Firing crack between the folds of the pink dress, the lady`s thumb is lacking. The end of the gentleman`s scabbard is also lacking. There are losses to applied leaves on the base.
