The hilt with nickel grip of checkered design, this has been personalised by two concentric rings to the base near the crossguard. Double edged spear point blade, the forte with etched panel Wilkinson Sword Ltd. London, the reverse side the F-S Fighting Knife. Recurved crossguard. Housed in an early pattern, brown leather scabbard with nickel rounded chape. Tailored with elasticated retaining strap, tangs period removed. The overall condition is good clean bright, with minor age wear. Blade length 17.5cm The scabbard is the type for second pattern 1st type dagger and was commonly used in conjunction with the 1st type dagger

The base of the grip with a WD issue arrow and 4 below. Double edged, spear point blade with oval crossguard. Now housed in a later brown leather scabbard. The overall condition is good, blade length 18cm This pattern of Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife is known to have been carried by the SAS during operations in North West Europe in WW2.

The blade with stamped crown and back stamped “23 RB No13 REDDELL & BATE”. The hilt of regulation pattern with long langets and full circular guard with single bar knuckle guard and complete with wood grip. Housed in steel scabbard with two loose rings, this with engraved details of Woolly Deakin Company. Overall GC.
Napoleonic War Period 1803 Infantry Pattern Sword Possibly Carried By A Grenadier Guards Officer single edged, curved, 31 inch blade. Hilt with fire gilt bar guard, which in place of the crowned GR cypher is decorated with a flaming grenade with a wreath. The shagreen gip retains twist wire binding and is surmounted by a lion head pommel. Housed in black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. The blade with some areas of pitting and appears to have been polished, no decoration remains. Gilt to the hilt remains bright.
This example with narrow single edged fullered, slightly curved blade decorated with a VR entwined cypher surmounted by crown. Gilt metal hilt with crowned VR cypher, shagreen grip and twist wire binding. Housed in original correct narrow steel scabbard fitted with two loose rings. Etching faint to parts.
