A Japanese Naginata, Sengoku/Edo Period.With curved blade formed with two red lacquer filled fullers on each face, the tang signed Bushu Shimonara ju Hironobu (active in Sengoku to Edo era), and pierced with a single hole, on its partially lacquered haft with weighted shoe, complete with its black lacquered scabbard painted with a red flowerhead clan mon. Provenance: From a British private collection. Condition: Good overall, with some age related wear, the scabbard with cracks and losses. The Indian? sword is rusted and with wear.

WW1 Battle Damaged German Mauser 98/05 Bayonet, being an untouched example with shaped two piece wooden slab grips. Steel pommel with acceptance stamps to the reverse and steel cross guard. Housed in its steel scabbard which has bullet / shrapnel damage to the edge. Swollen blade with the spine having crowned acceptance stamp and ‘15’ for 1915 issue. Blade by Simson & Co Suhl. Blade with some surface staining and wear, as does the exterior fittings.

WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, being a late war type with gilded zinc pommel and cross guard with press stud release button. White celluloid grip with wire binding. Housed in its original early pattern brass scabbard with two hanging rings. Plain double edged blade with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 25cms, overall 41 ½ cms. Some wear to the exterior finish and some dents to scabbard.

Swollen blade with fuller to the back edge. Spine with acceptance stamp and ’16’ for 1916 issue. Blade by ‘WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.G OBERNDORF a.M’. Some surface staining to the scabbard and light wear but generally good condition.

Housed in leather and steel mounted scabbard. Top scabbard mount with Arabic inscription. Partially double edged straight blade with acceptance stamps to both sides of the forte. The blade measures 46 ½ cms, overall 62cms.
