Housed in its steel scabbard which has bullet / shrapnel damage to the edge. Swollen blade with the spine having crowned acceptance stamp and ‘15’ for 1915 issue. Blade by Simson & Co Suhl. Blade with some surface staining and wear, as does the exterior fittings.

White celluloid grip with wire binding. Housed in its original early pattern brass scabbard with two hanging rings. Plain double edged blade with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 25cms, overall 41 ½ cms. Some wear to the exterior finish and some dents to scabbard.

Some surface staining to the scabbard and light wear but generally good condition.
