A vintage 20th Century Scottish Highland Regiment Officers / Pipers / drummers Dirk dagger having a traditional ebonised and studded carved wood handle, Crown emblemed pommel, silver white metal collar, fullered single edged blade with serrated back along with the original leather scabbard with silver white metal mounts having thistle relief decoration. The blade having scratched marks for P.G. Rugman and the maker scratched out to the ricasso, the scabbard mount having marks ' 973 6900 ' and dated 1973. Measures; 47cm total.

Nowill & Sons Ltd made Scottish Highland dress Skean Dhu ( Sgian-Dubh ) knife having a stag horned handle with brass plaque marke ' PGR ', fullered single edged blade with serated back, leather scabbard with silver white metal mounts with thistle relief design. The blade being marked by the manufacturer and scratched in ' P.G. Rugman '. Measures; 21cm total.

A rare original WWII Second World War Fairbairn Sykes 3rd Pattern British Forces Commando dagger. Double edged blade, with ringed alloy grip. Presented within its original leather scabbard. As issued to Lieutenant Arthur Francis Sherard Veasey of No. 3 Commando, his initials to the rear of the scabbard. A rare item. No. 3 Commando was a battalion-sized Commando unit raised by the British Army during the Second World War. Formed in July 1940 from volunteers for special service, it was the first such unit to carry the title of "Commando". Shortly afterwards the unit was involved in a largely unsuccessful raid upon the German-occupied Channel Island of Guernsey.

Measures; 33cm overall.
British Naval Officers Pattern 1827 Sword, English, c.1900, 80cm straight flat backed single fuller spear pointed blade, the last 23cm double edged, blade polished and frost etched, one side with crowned fouled anchor, some foliate designs, and a brass proof disc next to hilt, the other side royal coat of arms, scrolling foliage, makers name 'J Gieve & Son, Naval Outfitters Portsmouth' (traded from 44 Fore Street Devonport between 1900-1906), solid brass gothic-style hilt, with cartouche displaying a crowned fouled anchor, inner folding guard, engraved with the owners name 'H.S. Bland RN', lion-headed pommel, with extended mane, a white shagreen grip with brass wire, original blue and gold sword knot, original black leather scabbard has brass furniture fittings, and two attached ring hangers. Overall in excellent condition, with only very minor rust spots on the edge of the blade, sword complete with some historical documentation. Notes: There is extensive research documentation regarding the history of the owner, who was a Sub Lieutenant on HMS Beagle, a twin screw sloop in May 1901. Sadly, he died in a drowning accident in September 1901.

A 19th century Chinese sword, with shagreen and bronze mounted scabbard, the mounts slightly loose, with a fullered steel blade, overall length 82cm, sword length 80cm.Condition: The sword with hilt bent to the left, grip probably original, bronze of the hilt an even dark brown green tone which looks to have wear from use, blade crudely fullered and oxidised, scabbard starting to split where it is joined along the base with wear and lifting to the tip, two old glue stains to one side where possibly there may have been additional mounts.
