Early Production, Pre WW1, 1907 Dated Hook Quillon 1st Type 1907 Pattern Sword Bayonet By Wilkinson & 1st Pattern Scabbard With Internal Chape. This is an excellent 1st Type, hook quillon '07' sword bayonet by Wilkinson, complete with original 1st type scabbard. These bayonets were introduced in January 1908 (see page 186 of British & Commonwealth Bayonets by Skennerton). This example was made in Aug. 1910, a 2 years after production began. The sword bayonet has a 17" steel single edged blade which is stamped on the ricasso with the Kings crown 'ER' (Edward Rex)and '1907' (pattern) together with date '7 10' (Aug 1910) and 'Wilkinson' (manufacturer) . On the reverse it is stamped with inspection marks. The bayonet is fitted with its original 1st Type hook quillon cross guard which incorporates a muzzle ring. The wood grips are in good condition secured with two screw bolts. The pommel is stamped 35. It is complete with its original 1st Pattern leather scabbard with steel locket and internal chape. All the stitching and leather of the scabbard are intact with inspection marks. Est £400 - 600
A classic Bowie knife with approx 21 cm blade. The blade is chrome plated and has a fuller running 2/3 of its length with "Crocodile hunter" engraved above the fuller. It has a brass hand guard and pommel with a dark wood handle. The scabbard is of faux leather with a sharpening stone pocket complete with stone. The knife is in used condition with sharpening scratch marks to its edge. Est £20 - £30
Two camping/hunting knives. A Propac camp knife with a stainless steel full tang coated blade (13 cm) with wooden handle. The scabbard is made of leather and has a clasp. The smaller knife (10 cm stainless steel blade) is made by Winchester arms and is designed for animal processing. It has a index finger hollow for grater blade control. The nylon sheath has the Winchester logo to the face. Both knives are in fair to good condition. Est £20 - £40
British No 7 MK 1 Swivelling Pommel Bayonet, Scabbard & Frog by Elkington. This is an original No 7 Mk 1 bayonet with a 20cm blade (32cm overall). The bowie knife style blade is deeply fullered to both sides and is fitted with brown undamaged Tufnell grips. The blade is stamped on the ricasso No7 MK1 L and on the other side with a broad arrow. The scabbard is a No 5 Mk2 type with a steel mouthpiece fitted. A 1903 dated, 1903 Pattern SMLE Sword Bayonet This is a 1903 Enfield Sword Bayonet for the SMLE rifle. The bayonet has a 30.5 cm polished steel blade which is in fair slightly pitted condition, double edged and un fullered with a medial ridge running from the ricasso to the blade tip. The ricasso of the blade is marked 1903 together with 'Crown ER 1903' and on the other side with inspection marks. It's slab wood grips are deeply marked and secured with two screw bolts. The pommel has a cleaning hole and release push, which operates smoothly. WW2 (World War Two) Era Nazi German Kriegsmarine Dagger By Eickhorn Solingen & Scabbard.An original, German Kriegsmarine Dagger and Scabbard. The ricasso is crisply marked with the makers helmet logo. It has the distinctive Kriegsmarine Eagle Pommel, ornate cross guard with scabbard retaining button that works as it should and correct damaged Ivory hue resin grip. It is with original scabbard which is decorated with a hammered and etched design. The scabbard has a few small dents consistent with age and service use. It has two hanging ring mounts with oak leaf decoration. A World War II (WW2) German KriegsmarineNaval Officer's Dagger with a brass scabbard with lightning flashes decoration, crossguard and pommel are also brass and the pommel depicts an eagle with retracted wings holding a laurel wreath with swastika centre. The cellulose white handle is embellished with double twisted brass wire and there is a retaining catch button on the back of the crossguard, approximate size 42 cm x 7.5 cm x 2 cm. Imperial German Naval Officers Dress Dagger, being a wartime issue example with Imperial crown top pommel, white celluloid grip and plain brass cross guard having fouled anchor to the centre and press release button. Housed in its hammered scabbard with two roped hanging rings. Plain double edged blade which measures 22 ½ cms, overall 39 cms.
2x Fairbairn Sykes (F.S) Commando Knives, both being late WW2 pattern examples with one piece ribbed grips. One having cross keys makers mark to the lower section of the handle. Both having double edged stiletto type blades, one having the tip absent, blades measure 16cms each. Accompanied by an American made Kinfolks hunting knife in leather scabbard, blade measuring 12 ½ cms and a miniature Milbro Kampa knife in leather scabbard. (4 items)
