A modern divers or hunters knife with a saw backed blade stamped C.J.H. 104125, the handle fitted with a compass and concealing fishing hooks, snare and matches, in a black leather scabbard with sharpening stone, knife 38.5cm long. And a similar smaller knife with scout motif, the blade marked 'Solingen', 2 knives.
BURMESE IVORY HILTED DHA probably 19thc, with an ivory hilt and silver mounted collar, and with a large curved blade. With a wooden and silver mounted scabbard, Dha 53cms long, blade 35cms (blade with some damage). Also with a Malay Kris, with a wooden hilt and scabbard, the scabbard with metal mounts. (2) *These were acquired by either Lt-Col John Harvey-Kelly, or Lt Col Harvey St George Harvey-Kelly, and have passed through the family.
A SECOND WORLD WAR KUKRI. A Second World War Kukri with wooden handle and shaped blade with notch by the handle, the scabbard with black leather belt hanger and unusual fabric desert cover. The Gurkhas fought in the Middle East, Far East and North Africa during the Second World War and it seems likely that a cover of this type will have been used in one of these theatres of war.
A SECOND WORLD WAR OR LATER GERMAN NAVAL DAGGER. A World War II German Kriegsmarine dress dagger. The etched 25cm blade by E.u.F. Horster, Solingen, the wire bound grip beneath and eagle pommel, with attached knot. The scabbard with twin ring suspension and fabric belt hangers with lions mask buckles. 42cm overall.
