A. Guthrie of the 4/10 Gurkha Rifles. Originally enlisted to the Black Watch in November 1939, he was first in France April to June 1940. From 1942 he was posted to Ceylon, Imphal, Burma, Irrawaddy Crossing and Rangoon in 1945. He returned to the UK in 1946.
