Adams opposite the theatre, Plymouth', the brass hilt with crowned cypher with a replacement wire bound leather grip and later pommel, complete with steel scabbard, length of blade 823cm and overall length of sword 97cm, some damage and repair.

Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with hanging rings attached. Blade with some runner wear and a small amount of wear to the trademark. The blade measures 12”.
US MODEL 1860 STYLE PRESESENTASION SWORD W/ PHOTO FROM A MEMBER OF THE 7TH REGIMENT NEW YORK CAVALRY. This sword has a 3 branch brass guard w/ a dark leather grip w/ wire wrap (honest wear), the ricasso is unmarked & the blade which was double engraved has had 90% of its engraving expertly removed for some reason, the iron scabbard has a fair amount of rust has brass mounts (lower one dented) w/ the top one being finely engraved “Presented to: Lieut. D. Beebe From West Troy friends Nov. 7th 1861”, this comes w/ a partial leather knot. The albumin photo is 7 ¼” x 6” and is oval as is the frame 10 ½” x 8 ¾”, hand signed by him “Most Respectly yours Dillard Beebe”, shows him in full uniform (frock coat coat, hardee hat by his side, & holding a cavalry sword but not this one), this is in a period frame. This needs to be researched, a great archive, VG+
WW2 GERMAN ARMY OFFICERS DRESS DAGGER BY ALCOSA, SOLINGEN, untouched example with dark patina to the exterior fittings. Orange celluloid grip. Housed in its original scabbard. Very good condition blade with much of the original finish and makers trademark to the reverse. Generally good example.

Some cracking to the pommel and cross guard appears to be buffed although it retains its detail, now not matching pommel. Housed in its scabbard with single leather hanging strap. Double edged blade with feint remains of the makers trademark for Ernst Erich Witte. Blade 8 ¾ “, overall 14 ½ “.

Attached to the grip is the original golden bullion kriegsmarine officers dress knot / portepee. Housed in its brass scabbard with two hanging rings. Blade with standard etching and makers trademark to the base of the blade. The blade measures 9 ¾ “ overall 16 ½ “.
THIRD REICH SS (SCHUTZSTAFFEL) DRESS DAGGER BY CARL EICKHORN, ebony grip with nickel silver eagle and enamel SS runes. Some small chips to the grip. Housed in its anodised scabbard with denting to the lower chape mount. Double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’, reverse side having the large oval Carl Eickhorn trademark. The blade is polished and shows some wear. Overall a reasonable example of a desirable dress dagger. Blade 8 ¾ “.
US AMES MODEL 1834 GENERALS & GENERAL STAFF OFFICERS SWORD WITH BELT AND BUCKLE, only made by Ames, the ricasso is mkd. “N.P. Ames, Cutler Springfield”, the double engraved blade shows a patriotic eagle, an Indian, a US shield, floral designs etc., the grip is a gray ribbed iron, also has an iron clamshell guard & pommel both retaining about 90% of their gold gilt, the black leather scabbard has some cracking & some seam separation but are very solid as are the 3 gilted decorative brass mounts, comes w/ dam- aged gold bullion knot & correct white buff leather frog (separation on back), the belt is an early white buff leather, the gilted brass buckle is a tongue & wreath style w/ an oakleaf wreath having an elaborate “US” tongue (reverse of both are stamped “XV” (a foundry mark))VG++
US MODEL 1850 STAFF & FIELD OFFICERS SWORD, ricasso is mkd “James P. Fitch, New York”, has a very clean blade w/ a patriotic eagle on 1 side & an elaborate “U.S.” on the other, has a lightly worn sharkskin grip w/ brass wire wrap, has a brass pierced guard w/ “U.S.” having a slight dent & pleasing dark patina, comes w/ a well used officers gold bullion knot, its iron scabbard has a lot of rust spotting and its bottom mount lacks a screw (these brass mounts have very attractive shield designs etc.), this is a battle worn sword but having an usual nice blade! VG – VG+
THIRD REICH POLICE BAYONET BY CARL EICKHORN, good example of a Police bayonet with two piece stag horn grips, aluminium eagle. Matching numbers to the cross guard and scabbard mount. Nice scabbard with no separation along the seam to the reverse. Complete with its original frog which is stamped ‘KVZ 1943’. Original dress portepee attached.
US NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD, near mint condition example of a US Naval officers dress sword with gilt metal guard, grip with wire binding and housed in its gilt brass mounted scabbard with the top mount being engraved ‘D.A.S’. Mint condition blade with etched decoration and name of the original owner ‘David A Singer’. German makers mark to the base of the blade.

Housed in its refinished scabbard. Double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse side with the remains of the makers trademark and clear evidence of removal of a Rohm inscription. Some wear to the blade, grip with some chipping and wear. Reasonable example of a desirable dress dagger. Blade 8 ¾ “.
US CIVIL WAR UNION EM BELT RIG INCLUDING BAYONT , BELT & BUCKLE & CAP BOX, a 1 ¾” wide dark leather belt, a brass “US” oval 3 ¼” x 2” buckle w/ arrow style hooks on reverse, matching cap box is mkd “WATERTOWN ARSENAL”, the socket bayonet is a 58 caliber model & us stamped “US” & comes w/ its proper scabbard, the leather shows a lot wear but is still very sound, G++
U.S. MODEL 1850 STAFF & FIELD OFFICERS SWORD, ricasso is mkd. “A.D.K. 1851”, double engraved blade in beautiful condition w/eagle, “E. Pluribus Enum”, flags, etc., dark leather grip covering w/ copper wire wrap, pierced brass guard w/ “U.S.” & floral design (a shallow dent), has a blackened iron scabbard w/ brass mounts, lower scabbard has wear spot, high end example, exc.
THIRD REICH LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD, good example of a early nickel silver type sword with blue leather covering to the grip and original wire binding. Pommel with gilt mobile swastika to the centers, cross guard with central swastikas. Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver mounts having dark patina. Fine polished straight blade with makers trademark of SMF and acceptance stamp. The blade 28 ¼ “, overall 36”. Good patina to the exterior fittings.
US NON-REGULATION OFFICERS SWORD, like a British 1827 model, scarce, ricasso is mkd. “W. Clauberg Solingen”, blade is double engraved w/ floral designs, “U.S.”, an eagle w/ “E. PLURIBUS UNUM” etc., (well worn & dark), the open-work guard shows an American eagle, “U.S.” w/ a bugle below, has a shark skin grip w/ copper wire wrap, comes w/ a well used gold bullion knot, has a black painted iron scabbard w/ brass mounts (has a lot of paint loss), the guard is loose, G+
US MODEL 1850 STAFF & FIELD OFFICERS SWORD, has no makers mark but has a beautiful double engraved blade showing flags, cannons, a patriotic eagle, “E. Pluribus Unum”, etc., the finely pieced brass guard has “U.S” (the style is consistent with Millard of Clayville NY.), has a sharkskin grip with brass wire wrap, comes w/ an elaborate gold bullion officers knot, iron scabbard has an attractive browned finish & w/ high-grade brass mounts. If you are fussy you will be happy! Exc.

Black celluloid grip with wire binding. Housed in its original scabbard. Plain blade with fuller to the back edge. No makers mark. Blade 32 ¾ “.
US MODEL I850 FOOT OFFICERS SWORD, W/HIGH GRADE SCABBARD MOUNTS,the ricasso is mkd. “Horstmann& Sons Philadelphia” w/ a WKC crown on reverse, the double engraved blade has shield & floral designs along w/ “UNION LIBERTY” etc., the blade has some sharpening near the bottom but overall is nice, its dark leather grip is worn but sound but lacks most of its wire, has a brass pierced guard that has been “pushed in” a little, the black leather scabbard has a break near the bottom, the 3 brass mounts are highly engraved on both sides with floral & arms designs, there is a space on reverse where a presentation could have gone, overall VG. – VG+
WW2 GERMAN K98 DRESS BAYONET WITH ENGRAVED BLADE BY WKC, good example of a parade pattern bayonet with two piece chequered grips, plated eagle head pommel with red felt to the interior of the slot. Housed in its original scabbard with much of the black finish remaining. Nice polished blade with etched memory of my service dedication and eagle to the centre. WKC makers trademark. Removable leather washer still in place. Generally good example.
THIRD REICH K98 DRESS BAYONET WITH ETCHED BLADE FOR THE LUFTWAFFE, long single side engraved K98 dress bayonet by Eickhorn, with early oval trademark. Luftwaffe engraving with early double swallow guls in wreath with a standard whermacht eagle on the lower side closest to the ricaso. Blade shows some wear along the spine. Retains original removable leather washer. Perfect undamaged grips. Wear to the pommel area. Scabbard with original paint. Generally good example.
ENGLISH COURT SWORD CIRCA 1840 – 1860, a nice Victorian example, has an elaborate brass hilt & clamshell guard, the double engraved blade (near mint) has floral designs, the Queens crown & royal cypher along w/ the maker: “Milde Conouit St. London W.”, its brass leather scabbard has brass mounts, comes w/ a black leather frog that may not go with this, overall exc.
THIRD REICH SA (STURMABTEILUNG) DRESS DAGGER BY ERNST PACK & SOHN WITH PARTIAL ERASED ERNST ROHM INSCRIPTION, cherry wooden grip with nickel eagle and enamelled SA emblem inserted. Lower cross guard mount stamped with district mark ‘Wf’. Small chip to the grip. Housed in worn anodised scabbard. Blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and the reverse with makers trademark. The reverse of the blade has part of the Ernst Rohm dedication, interestingly much of the name remains as opposed to the dedication. Blade shows some wear.

Attached to the grip is an original officers brocade and metal sword knot. Housed in the original plated steel scabbard with two hanging rings. Slightly curved blade with fuller to the back edge. Blade is finely engraved to one side with oakleaves, Polish crowned eagle and ‘HONOR I OJCZYZNA’, blade with makers mark ‘G. BOROWSKI WARSZAWA’. Blade 30 ½ “, overall 37 ½ “.
THIRD REICH LONG MODEL CLAMSHELL POLICE BAYONET BY ALEXANDER COPPEL, SOLINGEN, fine example with two piece stag horn grips, aluminium police eagle to the centre. Plated pommel in form of eagle head and cross guard with oakleaves relief and clamshell guard with early style eagle. Housed in its original leather scabbard with plated mounts. Attached to the scabbard is the original bayonet frog with leather and bullion knot. Rear of cross guard and top scabbard mount are both stamped ‘S.O.p. I. 376’. Very good condition blade with fuller to the back edge and makers trademark to both sides. A good example overall.
RARE RUSSIAN MODEL 1909 DRAGOON OFFICERS SWORD SHASQUA FOR PERIOD OF PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT AFTER THE ABDICATION OF TSAR NICHOLAS II, good standard model sword but with the removal of crest of Tsar Nicholas II to the hilt. Brass hilt with relief pattern. Wooden grip. Attached to the handle is cloth sword knot. Housed in blackened wooden scabbard with brass mounts. Fine polished slightly curved blade with very thin fullers to the back edge of the blade. Etched to the blade is the double headed eagle emblem but with laurel sprays as opposed to crown of Nicholas II. Issue stamps to the base of the blade. Spine with etched details. Blade remains in near mint condition. Blade 30 ¾ “, overall 37 ¾ “.
THIRD REICH SA (STURMABTEILUNG) DRESS DAGGER BY KAUFMANN & SOHNE, SOLINGEN, fine example of a SA dress dagger with deep wooden handle having nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device. Lower cross guard stamped with district stamp ‘Wm’. Reverse of the grip carved with the letter ‘L’ possibly done by the original owner or the GI who brought the dagger home as a souvenir from Europe in 1945. Housed in the anodised scabbard with the lower ball mount being flattened and cracked. Attached to the scabbard is an original single hanging strap. The blade remains in near mint condition with much of the original polish and cross graining. Standard motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’, reverse with makers trademark to the base. Overall a very good example and a hard maker to find.
