A late 18th/early 19th century Naval officers Dirk possibly made for a member of the Egyptian club from the battle of the Nile in August 1798. The Dirk having a lions head pommel, chequered grip and Crocodile cross guard, the curved blade double edged at the top with foliage engravings and leather scabbard. The blade 31cm in length 43cm overall.
Late War Issue WW2 Japanese Type 30 Arisaka Bayonet, fine example of a late war produced Japanese bayonet for the Arisaka rifle with two piece wooden grips, squared steel pommel, straight cross guard with muzzle ring. The bayonet is housed in its original painted wooden / bamboo scabbard with two rings. Un-marked late war style blade with sharpened edge. Overall a good example.
